I was thinking...that in the DB main quest you find out who Miraak is via his cultists,the Skaal,Neloth...Why can't you ask Esbern,Arngeir or Paarthurnax who he is.When I saw that note about Miraak on the cultist's body, I instinctively went to Arngeir to ask him.No dialogue option.I though:"Hey, maybe good old Paarthurnax might know who this guy is?"Nope.No dialogue option.Finally I resorted to the unspeakble.I asked Esbern who might have some knowledge about Miraak in the Blades' archives, seeing as he is Dragonborn and all that...Nope.SCRIPTED EVENTS FTW!

Because Arengeir wasn't alive when Miraak was, and hs no reason to know about Miraak, especially considering most history of Miraak was wiped clear by the Dragon Cult, same with Esbern.

the only person who would know is Parth, and him not telling you is probably the result of being unable to re-hire the voice actor.

I'd think that at least Parthy would know who the Dragonborn rebel is.
