Why can't you spare the Brotherhood while siding with Mr.Hou

I read that there are still parts of a dialogue in the GECK that prove that such and option was in the game but was removed. It's sad that you can't persuade Mr.House to spare the Brotherhood, even thou they have a bad karma in this game.

Because House is a donkey's hind-quarters and he doesn't listen to ANYBODY. He listens only to his computer projections.

It should have remained an option even if it required Speech 100 and got you a bad ending slide where House was concerned.

Anyway, easy solution! Don't side with House. Kill him instead. VERY satisfying.

It's one of the few things that stop me going house more often.

House and the Brotherhood can't coexist with each other thats why. The Brotherhood has a hard on for tech and what do you think House has? House has a whole army of robots and is been kept alive by advenced tech. Do you you really think the Brotherhood can keep their hands off it? The answer is no they can't.

Well, the game could have given you some kind of option to imprison the Brotherhood in their bunker (weld them in :D) - you block the exit so Mr.House is safe, while the Brotherhood is safe from the outside world and can die slowly in peace. It's a win-win scenario I say ^_^

I think killing them is a better choice then that. It just seems to me if I'm going to kill the Brotherhood I'd rather it be a quick death then a slow one.

Do you think starving to death in an undergraound bunker is a peaceful way to die?

I wish I could've at least brought House they're advanced technology and told him "Here you go, now we can have an army that pulse greandes don't destroy, along with the Securitrons."

It's not a win for the Brotherhood if they have to starve to death in their bunker.

House's State (with Securitron Army) and the Brotherhood are incompatible, Yes Man knows it as well, but unlike House he has no real free will.

The Brotherhood are techno-religous fanatics and would likely launch some sort of attack on House, similar to how they went to war with the NCR (and the war would go exactly the same way).

House views them as little more than an annoyance, and he is in no doubt as to his ability to defeat them, but he simply wants to avoid a fight if he can (which is his style).
