I'm guessing because the original nanosuit was scrapped due to the events in the lingshan islands, and your wearing the new prototype nanosuit 2, and the cell soldiers you fight want that new technology the suit has to offer

They don't appear in the campaign for one of two possible reasons:
1 - the MP is set AFTER the SP and none of both got a nanosuit 2 yet
2 - during the SP, they are too busy killing eachother than to hunt Alcatraz and Ceph.

Here's an idea. All of the Nano suits are in other parts of the world dealing with the Ceph. Also, there was only a hand full of N2's out there, and most of the was protecting Rasch, and Prophet was working directly with Hargreave, so he was in New York.

Try not to make your freakin' thread title a plot spoiler, however minor you may think it is.

Yeah because the fact that there are no Nanosuit soldiers in the campaign other than yourself totally ruins the plot. The plot has nothing to do with other Nanosuit soldiers, so how can knowing there aren't any spoil it for you? Morons.

Morons? Really? How old are you, 15? First of all, there's only one of me. That would be singular: Moron. No "s."

Second, chill out. Giving away plot details in thread titles is a no-no on any forum, video game forums especially. The more forums you visit, the more you'll learn about how etiquette works. Etiquette, by the way, means 'how you're supposed to behave.' Just so you're up to speed. Kay. Continuing on:

It's very easy to think up a thread title which indicates that you'll be discussing aspects of the plot without actually giving away any specific plot details. For instance, this thread could have been called "Cell and Marine nanosuits in Campaign?" - doesn't give anything away, and gives whoever clicks on the title an idea of what they're getting into without ruining anything for people who haven't finished the campaign yet.

In case all this info that I've generously laid out for you isn't enough, I'll even answer your question.

Q: How can knowing that there aren't any Nanosuit Cell or Marine soldiers in the game ruin it for you?

A: Well, it probably won't -ruin- it for anybody, but believe it or not, there are plenty of gamers who like not knowing anything about the plot until they can experience it firsthand; watching it unfold cinematically before their eyes. Having little bits of information fed to them piecemeal by thread titles can be a major bummer, especially since it's so completely unnecessary to put spoilers in your thread title.

The End.

These are either prototypes or deployed in small numbers (as they are quite expensive).

Also, i don't think that Multiplayer is part of Crysis story, that would be nonsense.

Here's an idea: It's dumbed-down version for console players.

This explains EVERYTHING.
:P

But seriously though - it's another thing they would have to explain while the storyline is already action-packed enough without it.

I really love the idea fighting guys in nanosuits!
In Crysis 1 and Warhead i enjoyed the fight at the graveyard and in the mine with ne nanosuit-wearing koreans...
PURE AWESOMENESS!
AI that can cloak, and do strenght-actions like jumping or melee.
BUT one big bug wich must be fixed: When you shoot these guys in armor mode they will slowly die, and it will take some time and bullets.
If you uncloak and approach them (stand seen near them) they will activate strenght mode, and try to melee you.
In this time you can move backwards and kill them easily like an unarmored nanosuit wearer. :/

uh...it's hinted the Nanosuit 1 kills the wearer over time

I doubt the USMC and especially a private group like Cell would let that happen due to monetary concerns.

and there is only ONE Nanosuit 2 so...

**Possible very minor spoilers**

In Hargreave's office, though, there are Marine and CELL Nanosuit 2's. Perhaps those were not actual suits.

to be fair they are in glass cases....they could very well be models or prototypes. I mean one of them is hulk-sized and obviously neither a Nanosuit 1 or 2

Let's just say, the C2-MP are set in a different canon, where the Nanosuit 2 is a common armor (similar how C1-MP/Wars had several Nanosuits while according to C2, only a few were made. Not counting the korean ones, obviously.)

And for that huge Nanosuit-thing I suggest the name "Nanosuit 0" as it's obviously made before the Nanosuit 1. Anyone against it?

Of course, i dont think that Hargreave will spend a billion dollars for making another nanosuit 2, and putting it in some glass case. Besides: (SPOILER!!)
Hargreave wanted to equip the suit himself, and if this one would be real hell use it for sure.
