Why is Crysis 3 so terribly short in length? What a let down.

I have played ALL the Crysis games and Crysis Two to me was,and still is,the best of the bunch. This latest incarnation in Crysis Three,is a total let down.
Why? The length.
This is THE shortest game I have ever played.I got through it in less than nine hours, whereas the other Crysis games have usually taken me over two weeks to finish,at the same leisurely pace I just finished playing this one at.
The developers have seemingly spent all their money on the graphics and utilizing backstories/cutscenes like never before, but little on creating a good, solid and decent length of video game. What we have is style over substance.
If I had known this game was going to be this short,I would never have bought it.

Crysis 1 and 2 both took me around 10/12 hours exploring every corner of the game, 9 for C3 isn't bad

The campaign has bigger problems to complain about other than the lenght

Come play some multiplayer bro, that's where the value in a FPS is.

Although it was a bit short, the quality of it kinda compensated for it.

I just finished Crysis 3 on POST HUMAN just on 8 hours.
Love this game to bits, the whole series was a have to play.

Visuals
Cinematography
Sound
Lighting & Atmosphere

Every Crysis game should be played on the hardest difficulty.

thoses difficuty are just lazy joke. It only tweak damage received / AI health / nanosuit energy consumption... and they detect you no matter what ( which is absolutely not logical at all ) but the AI keep beeing the same dumb one.

When instead, higher difficulty should turn the AI "smarter" instead of giving a poor stat band-aid to fake something hard.
