I remember Skyrim getting tons of patches and updates but there was only a small few patches for Fallout 3. Why is that?

I'm constantly having to save often and experiencing my game freezing all of the time. This happened to people I know and to me as well. In fact my game froze a total of 5 times last night.

The same thing has happened multiple times with Skyrim before the final 1.9 patch.

It just svcks that there was never any good patches made on the PS3 for Fallout 3.

Anyone know why that was?
