Why did you choose YOUR house theme?

Since we're necroing this topic anyways...

I tend to go for no theme. While it's awfully blend and somewhat empty, it's a lot more preferable to me than the over-decorated themes. I don't want big and useless terminals that can't be put to any use. I don't want a lot of useless furniture that doesn't look comfy and which gets in the way. I don't want OTT decor. If there'd been a low-key kind of stylish home decor that put in a few more containers, a little bit of furniture, some carpets and wallpaper, and then kept it at that, then I'd be all for it.

I have pre-war theme in my megaton house because the other themes for the megaton house are crap.

Haven't tried themes in tenpenny, will see it on my evil playthrough. Quick question, if I let the ghouls in so I can get the mask can I still live there?

Not sure if this has already been answered but yeah, you can still buy themes for the suite. Micheal Masters takes over Lydia Montenagro's shop.

Anyways I always choose Pre-War theme because it's like a real house. The others just don't make the houses seem very homey. I mean seriously, WTF wants to live in a Raider theme? o_O

I think the Tenpenny Tower Pre-War theme is the best. It already matches the rest of the building and you get more for your money like paintings, a pristine fridge and oven (that sadly can't be used but still look cool), a dog house with a cool stuffed dog, some nice flowers, and you only get one TV instead of two like in Megaton. I wish the TVs in Fallout 3 worked. =/

Actually, I imagine the oven in TPT Pre-War theme does work - the one down in the eatery on the first floor obviously does.

It all depends on my characters RP personality. I like the Radier theme the best.

The Raider theme for the Megaton house...I leave Sticky there to sneak around looking like The Pint Sized Slasher with a toy knife.
My main home is The National Guard Armory Bunker.
