Why I'm Disappointed

Post » Tue Sep 27, 2011 7:10 am

There's only one reason I'm disappointed in Skyrim:

The release date.

It's not because it's too late / too soon, but it's because I won't be able to play it for two or more months. Since it's announcement I've been looking forward to Skyrim coming out this year, recently I've also DEP'ed (Delayed Entry Program) into the Air Force. Earlier in the year, I didn't know what job I was getting or when I was leaving to Basic Training, however, a couple of weeks ago I found out what I'd be doing and when I'd be leaving. I'm going to be working on planes, but my date I leave for Basic Training is what troubles me the most.

November 1st, 2011.

10 days before the release of Skyrim. The worst part? I won't be able to play until February most likely, and even then I'll have to wait until I have a computer or ship my Xbox to me. So while everyone will be playing Skyrim, I'll be going through hell in Basic.

This thread has no purpose, it's just me crying about leaving before Skyrim releases.

Absance makes the heart grow fonder. I'm sorry for you, but the only advice I can give is try not to worry about it to much. It's just a game. Take care of yourself first, and only worry about what is in front of you.

OHAITHX

That really stinks. I was gonna post a trolling comment like, "Why I Care................ OW8 I DONT," but since you're going to serve in the Air Force, I want to say thanks for what you're going to be doing.

However, I do think you will be too pre-occuppied with Basic to think about TESV. ;]

Happy for you and proud that you are going through basic and serving in the military.

But in the end that was your choice. No one to blame but yourself.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I think they timed it so that it would make Basic harder... yeah... that has to be it...

That's brilliant, by the time his soul returns from the Dreamsleave, we'll probably have TESVI!

On a more serious note; I can't even imagine your frustration during your training, when you know that you could be slaying dragons and exploring Skyrim.

Which is why I didn't join the Marines. Hahah, I'm not crazy, I'll leave the Marines to the bad-asses.

Definitely the third one, I'm more of an Archer when it comes to TES series. Nothin' like creeping around corners striking your unsuspecting victim with an arrow in their chest.
