It seems your character in this game is equipped with an iPad. You have access to fancy, futuristic menus and even a Google Earth-like map complete with GPS and satellite imagery. How do you rationalize that from a role playing perspective?

The menu is just a menu, a necessary immersion breaking moment needed to smoothly play any game really. The map...well he's tapping into his dragon soul for a moment and closes his eyes to see what a dragon sees as it soars over the terrain.

Haha, not a bad one now that I think about it, but honestly I just see the map as...a pretty map. I've even gotten pretty used to it, it was kind of a pain at first but it's starting to get easier to interpret and follow now.

I really like that dragon soul thing... I might start using the map... Once I kill a dragon... Atm im rping that im trying to get my old life back together

Yes bad design choice ...

I think something like Uncharted when consulting a map would have been waaay easier and look waaaay better....
