Why does New Vegas DLCs screw you ?

Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 6:27 pm

Like in Old World Blues you can get +1 or +2 strength but if you already have 10 strength you just wasted a SPECIAL point. Is there a reason that they screw you like that?

Not the game's fault that your build is not the most effiicient for it. If it bothers you that much, then reroll.

Thats why the autodoc in the SINK lets you rearrange your traits ONCE.

Sorry you didn't plan out your stats beforehand.

In Fallout Tactics you can go beyond 10. Ten is the max but drugs like Buffout and the use of power armour can raise it. :icecream:

I knew it! I knew there was a reason I have a little status thing that says "You are suffering from Power Armor withdrawal"!

Must...get...my...Powered Armor!!

I love that being the prime motivation of my FO1 & FO2 characters...xP

OT: I personally take it as more evidence that there's no reason to put any stat as ten from the beginning.

I heard ya. It's just that most of my experience is in FO1 & 2. Does Power Armor really count as a drug in tactics?

I was unclear. I meant drugs such as Buffout as well as the use of Power Armour will raise it beyond 10. Mentats will raise above beyond ten as well.

No Power Armour isn't a drug in Fallout Tactics.

Ah, now that we've cleared that up, I'll clear myself up. I was joking, I didn't really think PA would cause addiction, seeing as it doesn't in FO & FO2. But I wasn't sure.

Good to know that.

I hope you're speaking figuratively, OP.

Unless you're talking about the secret hoker Add-on. If so, the answer should be quite obvious.
