Is English not your first language?

I'll say this ... most UI overhauls require ini tweaking .... that and reading the readme.

Don't worry about OBMM's conflict detection - it doesn't work. Some mods are actually meant to overwrite one another. For example, the UOP fixes a lot of meshes. If you install another mod that overwrites the same mesh, it will show up as a conflict. That's ok.

Just use BOSS to sort your load order and you'll be good. You should install UI's like BTmod or Dark UI first and then install other mods afterwards so that the other mods can overwrite any menus they need.

I keep hearing about boss, and i do not have obmm anymore. since last reinstall.

I have these mods running:

ooo 1.33
mages robes
mages robes no manni
alternate start
thievery in imperial city
blood and mood bravil
castle ravenpride
classic swords remade
jq fighters guild united
jq assasins quests
natural habitats - max tael
natural- etc etc etc
unofficial oblivion patch
rens beauty pack hair/body
potion unlimiter

nooooww. no particular order there.

I do these and they work fine, maybe a questionable CTD now and then. No big deal.

Right? Right.

So say now I want to install the elven map redux or what it may be, revamped?

as well as BT MOD. the desired affects from both of those dont happen unless i use OBMM, in which case they all glitch out in some big mess up. IE only the map markers change for elven, or the bt mod font doesnt show up right for item stats. the box frame revamps, the grid for health/mana/fatigue doesnt have box. I catch the weapon durability status bar.

however they never function all in entirety.

Can i bypasss any other program to work my game with the mods i have now, as well as say just BT MOD. im sick of reinstalling.

I'm not certain what you mean by bypass; however, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1084204-bain-mod-installation-projects/ is considered the superior installer, but it does have a learning curve.

The thing with OBMM - is that since it cannot track over and underwrites of loose files - the more you add the more confusing it is. For instance if you have installed a mod that requires it be installed last then then later install a bunch more mods that require installing before the said mod - you will end up doing a lot of uninstall/reinstalling.

BAIN can control install order automatically shifting files as needed if you drag and drop sort the install order.

BAIN removed 95% of the cases where one would need to uninstall/reinstall.

Dark UI is too complicated to install manually. Use OBMM for that one. I don't think anybody has made a BAIN wizard for it yet. alt3rn1ty's Wyre Bash guide has instructions on how to convert the OBMM version of Dark UI to a BAIN compatible archive, but it's pretty complicated.

Trust me, installing Dark UI manually is insane. I don't even attempt it and I've created menus for Oblivion XP! :D

Install Dark UI with OBMM. Then use BOSS to sort your load order. You should be good to go without crashes *keep fingers crossed*.

 That's exactly what I told alt after following his guide to make a BAIN compatible archive for Dark UI! Pure insanity, but worth every minute.

@Molec: I'm not sure what you mean by extra tasks on installation of OBMM. It has been a while since I've installed it. I suggest just going with the installer version for BOSS - no fussing about.

DarkDarnUI is fairly easy to install with OBMM (it's not called OMM, by the way).

DO you know how to install mods with OBMM? It seems not. You really should read http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=omod_installation.

Edit the oblivion.ini (in accordance with the Dark UI description instructions - You need to read them :P)

Okay you got it - Just remember any screen resolution less than 1024x768 will not work and mess up some of the menus - Nothing can be done about that. Otherwise its just a case of tweaking the in-game menu.
