Why does "storm call" attack my follower?

Here Lydia and I came across a very large nest of Falmer. No problem - break up and start hacking through them - except many of the foes were leveled - harder for me to deal with just my sword - Oh I'll soften the playing field with "storm call" - no problem except when all the fighting was done - Lydia was nowhere to be found.

Resort to a saved game before the fight began and use the "storm call". Lydia was getting hit with more lightning than the Falmer were!! What?

I can clearly see what happend. The falmer knocked her health low and the lightning from my storm call did her in.

Wonderful.

Friends should not let friends use "storm call".

(I suppose the same would happen with 'dragon call' or 'valiant call' to?)

Not with dragon call it will only attack NPC's flagged as enemies but that won't stop him from 'accidently' attacking a follower should they be too close to the enemy as the dragon's fire could hit multiple targets. At least I don't think so... I've had the same problem with storm call myself, the coolest things usually wind up killing everyone, may as well get used to it, I have :glare:
