I hate the fact that PS3 is set up without a server list, it randomly puts you in a room... PC has server lists... why dont ps3? Server lists make a game GOOD.. i just don't understand why ps3 doesn't have them.

Because PS3/XBox are P2P instead of on dedicated servers?

doesn't matter, many games have server browsers and are P2P.... its just another way to search for rooms...a better way, by far

PC players don't need to play on dedicated servers, they can play p2p games too, and they're still shown on the server list. They usually don't have as good ping, so nobody joins them.

I would like to at least be able to see how many players are playing on the different modes - so I can better choose what to play so i actually get in a game with other humans. Sometimes I'll join Big Teams and get a decent crowd of human players, other times there will be nobody else. Sometimes I'll join a Campaign game and be alone even though I'm online, other times we'll be "full" 4 vs. 4 human players.

just add a lobby system FFS, at least then we can wait for a room to fill with real people instead of having to random jump in with more than 70% all the time

We dont need a lobby system, just a server browser, i think thats impossible to do in a patch, but its still the thing thats gonna kill brink. Brink tried too hard, i LOVE the gameplay, its my favorite game out EVER. they did GREAT on the gameplay and graphics... But i dont need a story line to play a game... a game is something you do with friends to entertain yourself. If i cant play with friends.... aint worth playing

So, first off, I don't do much console gaming but I do know that on Halo, you can see who on your friends list is playing and there is a join button once you click on their name. I don't have a PS3 but on the Xbox 360, you can also start a game with your party. Makes it a lot easier to play with friends (I assume this is why you want a server browser). Is that not the case with Brink? If it isn't, then I see why you guys all want a lobby system (still don't get how that works, a link to an explanation would be great or just a PM even) and I don't understand why they didn't add either of the features.
