Because I see enough cats in a day.

And not enough humans?

I <3 Khajiit, I just don't usually play them. I adore the way they said "Frrrrriend" in Morrowind, as though they were purring.

OMG they do that? that is so cute, now I love them even more ~! lol <3

maybe because people like argonains. Khajiits don't like argonians. Just conflicting interests. But then again the liker of the argonian would have to have a conscious awareness of the Khajiit's disdain for the Argonian in order for this to be true... so maybe not.

Khajiits are okay. I read this Pendragon (is that what it was called?) book as a kid that had cat people similar to Khajiits. I kinda like 'em because of that. They just don't really stand out from the rest, not much has been said of their back story or culture. Trolling them with Sheogorath was fun in Oblivion.

They are alright, I like them as characters, I just personally don't want to play one.

I am interested in what they will sound like this time, since it won't be the exact same as Argonians.

It's like why don't more people like pie than cake? the cake is obviously a lie.

I don't think it's that people don't like khajiit, it's just that they have other favorites. This is why I'm kinda annoyed that out of the waves of "Best Race" threads, none of them (that I've seen) have included a "second favorite" or "second playthrough" poll option. :( I'd make one myself, but I don't have a computer.

I will never play as a Khajitt, I just don't like the race and the thought of playing as a cat is just weird.

Oddly enough, I usually make a human my main combat character, and a Khajiit as my character to just mess around with. Love the Khajiit, though. "Human with pointy ears" is just so boring.

The Khajiit are one of my favourite races in TES and always have been. I'll definitely be rolling one my first playthrough. :)

Lots of xenophobic people around here. Too insecure to accept non-human-like races.

My first character is definitely going to be a Khajjit. I've always been interested with their culture and lore. And suprisingly they make good warriors. My Khajiit is going to a heavy armored battlecat.

I've never played an Elder Scrolls game before. Khajiit will be my first character, I love beast races. I like the personality they carry with them under the human persona. I like the conflicting sides of their characters. I'm not into the Moon Sugar addiction, my Khajiit will have sworn a silent vow to himself to never indulge because of what he's seen it do to his brothers in arms. I like the concept of a half cat, half man battling with the ritualistc/customary nature of a narcotic and his own people with his own beliefs. I like the depth that brings to what my Khajiit will be; Ranger assassin with conjuration magic.

I like all the races except for Dumbner.

Now I may be a furrie but that doesn't mean I like to play as a Kajiit or Argonian...However I will be making Raptor Jesus.

Kajiits? I'll set their fur on fire. Argonains? People are gonna be admiring my awesome leather jacket and bowstring if that's possible.

To clear some things, "furries" are people who are strongly passionate about animals, anthropomorphic or not. Same how "trekkies" are strongly passionate about Star Trek.

Just to say, Khajiit and Argonians aren't furries.

I just can't relate to being a kitty cat race or an argonian. They just don't have any sort of alpha status to them. Although I have played as half ogres, half orcs, xvilia, elves and other races which seem to have something cool about them. Probably because I've never seen much modern media where the lead was a cat or lizard type.... thus I don't have any subconscious implants telling me "that would be cool". If they had some really cool powers I'd consider it though, but sadly they don't.

Like if the Khajiit's could climb walls, run super fast on all 4's, smell stuff coming so no way you can sneak up on one, regenerate faster, take no fall damage and have enhanced night time vision (not night eye, but it looks almost like day at night), and some other feline type powers that made sense I'd probably try one out. But they are men with cat faces and a couple of lame abilities any human can acquire with a spell or potion so what's the point?

Argonians... they would need to be able to chomp someone's head off in hand to hand like a raptor, run really fast and have twitchy fast reflexes like raptors, (water breathing is in, but that is expected too), um high jump, high running speed, regenerate amputated limbs, night eye, smell stuff, bonuses to agility and stealth, and a lot more massive advantages for me to want to play one. And then some real social disadvantages, like humans not wanting to trade with you, racism, etc....to make it really interesting and a rich experience, then I'd be more inclined to play.

But what are they? Just men with lizard heads and water breathing. No thanks.

Really they would need a major overhaul to be a viable class for me. Huge advantages and disadvantages... otherwise it's just an ugly human, if I can't terrify people why do I want to look like that?
