The Khajiit are one of the coolest looking races in SKyrim. I think I'm going to make a claymore wielding archer who masters alchemy and can pickpocket folks. He will be dark grey with streaks of black. Orange eyes. A mohawk. Very cool.

In Oblivion the Khajit looked to human to me. I think I will play one in Skyrim. Cats have those eloganted eyes, almond shape with long pupils. I always wanted a kind of lion mane thing, that just isn't possible.

For some reason my Khajits always get addicted to Skooma and/or Moon Sugar. For some reason they can't keep their hands off of it.

I've always liked khajiit, but I've never really played one. However, various khajiit have been among my favorite NPCs of past titles.

Just like people with pointy ears?

elves at least look human. the earliest experiences with cat people and lizard men were on snes JRPGs and shows like lost world and thundercats or the wing commander video games. it is impossible to take something with whiskers seriously. they are a completely unoriginal race and frankly a joke.

I refuse to believe anime furries are in TES. That would ruin it. The Ka Po Tun might catch my attention tho. Giant Bengal Tiger man anyone?
You think me wrong? http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn74/Tabris93/JRaska.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Cliffworms/Acrobat.jpg http://s488.photobucket.com/albums/rr241/Pocketgb/?action=view¤t=sheina.png http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/9499/dfchar2.jpg. Well.....to be fair, they don't have cat ears, but the body type is human, with a tail and human face and hair. They also have a light amount of fur covering their body, save for a part of their chest, neck, and head. Lastly, they like to tattoo their faces.

Khajit and Argonian are pretty well represented in all the character polls.

The presence of the beast races is what will always put Elder Scrolls above other fantasy RPGs for me.

Khajiit fit the class and play style I wanted. Also I have never played as anything like them. Humans and elves.... boring.

The first Elder Scrolls game I ever played, I played a Khajiit. There's nothing wrong with them.

I <3 Khajiit, I just don't usually play them. I adore the way they said "Frrrrriend" in Morrowind, as though they were purring.

:) same... like my name is said "kahsajarrrrrrra"

I think that it might challenge the masculinity of some. I for one think that this time around they really did a great job at making them look pretty ferocious though. I will end up making one of every race at the very least this time. Loving all of the races.

Elves are completely original.

Actually, except Altmers other Mers in Nirn ARE quite original
Although Bosmers remind me of Halflings from DarkSun

As for Khajiit
I think race of humanoid cats that can lick their buts is best proof that something is terribly wrong with Nirn

never claimed that they were original...........what i said is that they at least looked mostly human looking. the distinction from elf to human is significantly smaller than from a housecat to an elf/human. khajit and argonians look like something you would see at one of those nintendo cos play events in japan. they are just silly looking. i wish they had come up with something that you dont see in any other game as opposed to just copy/pasting kilrathi from wing commander and lizardmen from DnD.

the one saving thing about skyrim though is that at least the beast races look beastly at least more so than they did in oblivion.
