Why Elder Scrolls?

Joining House Redoran. I felt like I actually had a purpose in this fictional world.

I was hooked from the minute i knew i could be and do whatever i wanted and go wherever i wanted. As a concept, that possibility in a medieval-ish setting was mindblowing to me. As I played deeper though and got to understand the world and the lore, i loved how you get the sense that the world has lots of history and the fact that different authors have different theories on certian things makes it seem even more realistic and mysterious. Another thing, the Elder Scrolls lore is very original and not just a copy of generic fantasy. Cyrodiil, High Rock and Skyrim may be recogniseable as various real life cultures, but the Morrowind and the beast provinces make the world feel huge and set it apart from everything else.

The world. Or to extrapolate, how well the world is built, and how "unstereotypical" it is. This is what attracted me to Dragon Age at first, but I found this series to have better gameplay and a better built world.

I find the lore about all the gods most interesting. Sithis, Lorkhan, Anu etc... are barely even felt in the game in anyway, but they are so complicated.

I saw Morrowind in a number of reviews and it looked rather...interesting...and detailed. But first meetings with this game aside and talking about recent feelings. Well, the mods do it for me, the original parts of the game are still solid, but mostly mods.
