For a while I was pretty disgusted with the radiant quests and refused to talk to Preston for fear he would once again send me over to Abernathy Farm to deal with their ghoul situation....again.


Well anyway, after finally deciding to get the sneak and ninja perks and the Mark 4 synth chest piece that allows you to become invisible while you aren't moving, these quests have become fun again. I've been trying to go in and out of a location completely undetected.


Another thing - at each of my locations I've been putting in a lookout tower and a fast travel pad at the top of it so if I get sent to a location to defend it, I arrive at a good sniping spot from the start.

I'll give Preston Garvey this much: he's a useful tool if you want to level up quickly. If I want things to do, I go to him and he's more than happy to point me to yet another settlement that needs my help for the tenth billionth time.
