Why is EVERYTHING from Bethesda so buggy?

So this post may seem like a rant but I do have an honest question. Why is literally EVERYTHING that comes from Bethesda Game Studio so buggy? Seriously I didn't even witness the Morrowind fiasco but I was there with Oblivion. Patch after patch, game is still unstable as what, and the Construction Set was even buggier. Why is that? Why can't software from Bethesda a bit of stress?

With Skyrim and this supposedly better script language it is even worse. After ten patches the game less stable then before and I don't have anything positive to say about the Creation Kit either. Seriously how does Bethesda Game Studios design games with these tools? The Creation Kit can't be the tool they made the game with it always freezes. With every modding session I have, at least 3 Creation Kit freezes occur. Imagine how that must be like with an entire team. And it's not like I do over the top stuff. No I was just building a ruin, and I had to search for it again because I didn't give the region a name yet and while moving bam. Frozen. How can just loading stuff already be too much for it? Oh and then I'm not even talking about the bugs like large objects like mountains that keep disappearing.

It's like Todd Howard intentionally made the Creation Kit this buggy so nobody can make better stuff then Bethesda's DLC and his ego is safe from harm, seriously. Bethesda Game Studios software is messed up. It's just messed up. This needs to stop seriously. If they keep going like this, adding layers of code and code on top of their already buggy stuff what will the future give? I mean if [censored] keeps going like this you can't even place an object in Fallout 4's or TES:VI's editor without it freezing because of some [censored]. Well at least Todd Howards ego will be safe from harm then.

Bear in mind, the CK we have isn't exactly the same. It's been trimmed of a lot of tools that they've only licensed for their use on;y (Modelling tools, texture tools etc) plus they'll be running it on some serious monster PCs that are built purely for game building, no extra software on them at all.

Riiight.

Since the dawn of game development, developers been developing tools internally to make the development easier. And since they are only used for their own use, they are buggy as heck as they don't bother to spend time making them userfriendly cause they know how to use them anyway.

Programming software is like 10% implenting features and 90% polish/error checks/userfriendliness and routines to prevent users from doing wrong. Since all their users know how to not do wrong, it's better focusing on implenting more features and correcting more important bugs.

For example, imagine there is a very simple program asking for a number between 1-10. The user put in a number and it all works. But if a inexperienced user was about to write -3 what will happen then? A crash. Or they could spend time making a routine to doublecheck the number before it's being used further and add some error message saying "invalid number" and then ask the question again. Now this really tiny piece of code somehow gotten several times larger just because of error checks and userfriendliness. Imagine how much more it is for a large piece of program like the CK.

They use 3DS MAX and Photoshop for those things, got nothing to do with CK. But yes, the CK isn't exactly the same, the one they release for free is more stable than the CK they work with while the game is in development, as they work with it while it's being changed and new features are being added. That said, they know exactly what they can do and can not. Most of their designers now have thousands of hours of experience with it.

Besides 3DS MAX, Photoshop, Excel, Skype and whatever else they want and need.

Because we remain willing to buy them. If sales tanked on a buggy release, they wouldn't release buggy anymore.

Because honestly I don't even have these bugs.Oblvion is only unstable for me if I use lot's of mods and I never had a normal non mod related crash in Morrowind. The only game I have crashes is Skyrim and even then most are mod related.

Sorry, meant the plugins for those tools, I think allows them to basically load in without the faffing around modders do.

And by extra programs, I mean the general junk your or I have. Games, browsers, movie players, audio and video codecs etc
