Why no fix for Blizzard spell and the spell absorption glitc : V

Why not fix these two as well? They even fixed the alchemy tree. I really would like to use the blizzard spell and still have magic resistance.

A number of reasons. Most likely being they just haven't gotten around to that particular issue. 1.9 addresses a lot of bugs, so they were working hard. Just because they havn't fixed a particular bug doesn't mean they don't know about it or wont fix it.
