Third person cameras get stuck on things or give you the absolute wrong view when back to a wall
Brink is ALL about not getting caught on things

That's down to got programming. If a character can easily get stuck at anything, there is already a flaw in the movement-system. If the camera can get stuck on anything, there is a flaw in the camera-system (most third-person-games have a ridiculously far out camera, if you ask me. I play GTA IV on the closest setting, for example, which does only show Niko from the back upward.)
Aiming is much more precise in first person so if they included a third person option players using it would either be at a noticeable disadvantage or they'd need to be given generous auto-aim which would be extremely difficult to balance and keep fair.
I disagree here; aiming with a crosshair is equally precise in first and third person. Only aiming down the sights is -in theory- more accurate.
