A research team in France conducted a Romanian health system check.
Over 40% of diagnostics Romanian doctors give are wrong (they operate when should not,they hospitilaze when should not---all those and more are factors in this).
Granted the system is horribly sub-financed with very old (if at all ) tech,for example my country has not the tech necessary to treat blood cancer and other such diseases.You have to go to another country for that(if you have the money)
The doctor's poor education is a factor in this too.(the 40% wrong diagnostics i mean)
Also the medics collage here want state funded university's to stop free education and to charge for medical school,because most average-good doctors leave the country right after they graduate,so nothing comes back into the system.
The average wage of a medic here is 400-500 $ per month.My dad for example (psychiatrist) makes 400$ per month. The rent per month in Bucharest is over 200$ per month. The minimum wage here is 200$.
Also my father is a scumbag.(my parents are divorced)

Once i had to be operated for appendicitis.The doctor who should have did the anesthesy refused to give me one until my mom went home and got the money to bribe him.
I was fortunate enough that my mom had the money,if not he would have not operated.
Sure enough he was a pig,i mean i understand you have to bribe here( i would not want my surgeon to think about how he is going to pay his rent next month while operating on me),but not with me, an obviously poor guy.
Do it only to those who can afford it. I've seen enough people die in hospitals because of negligence(people who did not have money to bribe).
My second example was when i was wrongly diagnosed (hydrocele or smth like that--a testicle disorder) they where going to operate on me,i made a scene because i knew they only guessed my diagnostic because they did not ran any sort of test.If i didn't make a scene i would have a surgery scar on my scrotum.Later i went to a private clinic and the guy there tested me ---turned out i had some nerve spine problems that caused my scrotum pain.
He prescribed me some meds(this was years ago) and i was fine.
Another time i called the ambulance ,they took me to the hospital. They said the doc is not available now(he was drunk),they gave me a pain killer and send me home.
This is not a medical thread, if you can give advice to me on how to get over it, because as it stands now the only way i'm going to see a doctor ever again is when/if i leave this horrible country i hate with such a passion or if i pass out some day on the street and someone calls an ambulance.
In theory the medical system here is free,but i promise without a bribe most doctors here will not treat you.And if they do it will be with great disgust and negligence.
