Why do we have to wait until launch for our Crysis 1 gift?! : Crysis

I just pre-ordered Crysis 3 Hunter edition and had to find out through CS that I'll only get my copy of C1 after the launch of C3.

So whats the freaking point? Why the hell would I play C1 once C3 is released?! Also it didn't say anywhere that you have to wait for that and frankly I didn't assume this about a five year old game. Another disappointment from EA, was probably my last pre-order for a while...

Because you could cancel the pre-order and get a refund, but still have gotten a key for Crysis and have activated it, thus getting the game for free.

well I only pre-ordered so I can play C1 until C3 comes out...
