Why intruder able to penetrate vault door easily?

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 5:02 am

I means wasn't it built to withstand devastating power of nuclear bomb and impossible to destroy by conventional attack?

The incidents( which sounds more reasonable ) already giving me headache, now the raiders keep attacking me. Just few slashing and bullets are enough to penetrate the door? This must be kidding!

I have less than 20 vault dwellers and stimpack production is low, I hope they adjust the gameplay so that invasion only happen when I have a lot of vault dwellers. I simply don't have enough man power and fire power to due with invaders again and again.

Their new monster are super powered. The new update wiped out all three of my 100+ dweller vaults within three hours of updating.

Ohohoho, just wait until you have a Deathclaw attack. The vault door might as well not even be there, even if upgraded to level 3.

The deathclaw invasion just make no sense, how can they have interest to invade vault? What, they can smell human fresh through air tight vault door? Or they listen to radio?

Oh wait I know, they must be legendary intelligent deathclaw created by Enclave.

Ah, our vault must be Enclave test vault!

If you watch your dwellers talk, sometimes they comment the vault seal might be loose , because they feel a draft, this would allow smell to escape, I suppose. And the developers said in the release the sound of construction may attract them, I was also told that the deathclaws are supposed to (assuming they do what they are supposed to) be drawn to the vault door opening and the radio broadcast as it creates foot traffic towards the vault.

I do agree that it's really silly that raiders and deathclaws can fight their way through a door designed to withstand a nuclear blast but without them there wouldn't be much challenge to the game.

You're joking but you're close to the truth.

The mole rats and deathclaws were bio-engineered by Enclave to excavate vaults cheaply and fed radioactive roaches to automatically limit their lifespan while temporarily fostering it. But Enclave released these chimaras when they were shown to be ferociously territorial, irresistibly driven by reproductive urges, and willing to tunnel and tear their way into the newly built Vaults, which they considered to be their dens. The mere sight of the vast steel doors drew them like Eloi.

Because it's just a game mechanic.

I mean if you want to hack it apart, you could say, how are you a vault tec chosen overseer, post war?
