Why Jeanie May, why?

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 2:51 pm

I felt really bad about having to kill Christine on my second playthrough. I really liked her. I think I forgot to pick up the Vera recordings before I went up tp the suites and she got all paranoid about me and the old man working together against her or some crap. I tried many things but I couldnt convince her otherwise. Theres even a speech check (75), I dont know what for, since the outcome of the conversation is always the same: She turns hostile and forces me to kill her. The best i could do for her was not shoot her in the face and laying her out on Vera's bed afterwards. Later on, while on OWB I stumbled across her sniper rifle. It made me feel sad.

I feel bad for Vulpes the first time I played New Vegas and got to Nipton, if I knew he was so cool I wouldn't have harmed him :(
Oh and Caesar on my first play through I never noticed the Medicine check before doing the surgery :(
Cass on a hardcoe playthrough by 3/5 Cazadores, she had no chance with that caravan shotgun of hers
And my D.i.D charcter Marc Antony, he completed everything but was taken down by a irradiated heavy trooper at the Long 15

Boone is psychopath, he if anyone deserves to die.
Somebody is finally making sense here!

I usually sent him to get eaten by the White Golves. It's what he wants, what I want, everything works out! Boone is an evil bastard who deserves to get eaten...

You don't like Veronica? Or are you just a creepy sadist? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfQ3Z3l7hIA :nerd:

I like Veronica. I don't love her, I don't think she's fantastic, but I like her.
But I had to decide whether I wanted them to eat Boone's meat which would probably be really chewy or Veronia which looks delicious.
For that, I chose Veronica. :)
Sadly they did not accept Raul. :(

Rather just burn a hole through his head and toss the sick bastard off of the Dino Byte Shop.

I prefer to make it more of a challenge:

I lure somebody out in front of the dinosaur and then try to shoot Boone before he kills whoever I lured out.

I felt sad for killing several Bighorners, wolves, crows and any other wild animal in the Mojave Wasteland. I still needed those XP.

You don't have to kill Veronica to eat her! You just have to play as a female :disguise:

Figured out what it is.

I knew what "crack" and "cocaine" is, but I didn't know what "crack cocaine" is.

Crack and cocaine mixed in a bowl for 3 minutes with some warm butter, sugar and wheat.
Pour down into a rectangular tray of your choice and let it cool down in the fridge.
Serve with strawberries and chocolate sauce.

Here's another one I kinda regretted. It was destroying Elder Hardin's Brotherhood. It seemed like he was going to bring much needed change to the bos. I never have a problem destroying them when McNamara is in charge. He's a stubborn fool, how will they ever accept change under his leadership.

As for Jeanie May, I mean't to say I was surprised by the fact that she was the one who sold Boone's wife. I believed she got what she deserved, or else I wouldn't have woken her in the middle of the night; and led her to her death.

Hardin doesn't want change at all. McNamara is just too cautious for him. He wants the BoS to be out seizing technology from people, regardless of NCR presence. He wants to attack Helios One again. Change? No, Hardin is not for change, he's for heedless aggression.

There was sympathy for House, but none for Jeanie May. She didn't deserve any!

Hmm, Hardin just seemed more open minded than McNamara. McNamara just wanted the brotherhood to rot away in the bunker.

Off Topic: I believe the BOS should be aggressive, not against the NCR though. But the lesser tribes. They should take a page from the midwestern BOS and recruit members from the tribes.

When you first meet Mcnamara he definitely looks this way, but he actually ends up being much more open minded then Hardin.

Maybe your right, maybe I misjudged McNamara. I never completed his questline, I stopped when he sent me looking for parts for the filtration system.

It's worth completing, and as this is the spoiler section, I'll let you know that if you do McNamera's quests instead of Hardin's, you can negotiate a cease-fire and the beginnings of an alliance between the NCR and BoS.

Wow, it looks like I missed out on a good portion of the mojave BOS story. I'm gonna redo the BOS portion, after I finish my House playthrough. Since I have 2 saves from before meeting them.
