played a couple rounds of assault this morning, after leaving the server i now am lvl50 with all weapons unlocked. if i get BANHAMMERED for this i will never buy another crytek product again. this is ridiculous, get this game under control soon or i'm done playing it. i mean whats the point of even playing MP now i have nothing to look forward to unlocking. this game is a joke!!!!! IS there a way to reset my user or something!! i was only lvl10 when i started MP this morning and i didnt get any of the lvl up popups during the game or anything. NEED HELP before i get screwed out of my game!

can be 2 things our you changed some files on your pc our downloaded some modified files and added them to your game.

our a server has been modified but i doubt that so probably you will get banned

i didn't change anything in my game folders @ all. i logged in played a couple rounds of assault, quit the game, went home (yes i was playing crysis 2 @ work) logged in and my character is lvl 50 in the multiplayer menu.

Me thinks… we can’t help you and a support ticket needs to be sent. We will just troll you telling you nonsense and calling you out as a hacker who is trying to save his arse. This will go on until it gets closed by a moderator… although with the amount of traffic with current complaints it may take awhile.

I recon it's entirely possible it wasn't him who did it, on MW2 for example a hacked server can change your levels and unlock everything, seeing as the MP on this is completly open for hacks of all kinds i recon it's quite possible a server could have done it to him (not saying it did, but it is possible).

i didn't buy anything but a game that screwed me, screwed me on DX11, screwed me on "day one" content, screwed me with a console port, screwed me out of any protection from hacking douche bags and now is is gonna screw me out of my money altogether by banning my key, all because i connected and played on a hacked server (after 30 min of going in and out of servers that wouldn't start a game) I am definitely a satisfied customer and look forward to buying their products in the future

I too can vouch for this, I have a whole Squad of friends and myself who are now 50's from playing on what I can only assume to be a modded server. Modern Warfare 2 saw the same thing happen with modded/hacked lobbies, and I believe it's still completely possible.

XML editing is possible, so it wouldn't surprise me if server configs/files are too. If you're worried about your rank so much though, just do the "Nanosuit Reboot" in your "Operative Status" page. It will not reset your overall stats, but it will reset your rank, xp, perks and weapons. It's like prestiging in Call of Duty.

Hopefully Crytek could shed some insight on this, but seeming the current track record, I'm very doubtful.

I've heard of this. And judging by the number of complaints here (-the trolls), I'd reckon that Crytek is going to level-wipe soon. Go for what you want, but I'm prepping to be reset here in the next couple of weeks.
