As an evil based character, Argonian assassins in Shrouded Armor are great.

they breath under water and have good immunity

They really did have it coming. For some reason, a lot of people played Morrowind without getting the impression that the Dunmer were almost all a bunch of racist xenophobes, or else they just didn't mind. The Dunmeri people are probably the most morally deplorable in all of Tamriel. Their physical appearance even reflects that, as does their fate.

Aye, I'm one of those people who were saddened by what happened, out of my love for the Dunmeri peoples.

No, seriously, in Morrowind they were one of my fave races because I didn't have to worry about *drowning* >< although tbh I did usually play a khajiit... I wish more games had decent races like TES -- too many seem to take the short cut of human with pointy ears, squat human with beard, and human etc.

I don't hate Argonians...In fact I don't hate any of the races...They all have something different to offer the player...I just prefer playing TES as a Nord...

Reptilian scum. I would see them all wiped off the face of Tamriel. What happened to them with Umbriel made me laugh.

Of course I never hated Argonians before. I deplored your plight as slaves, and I implored my Dunmer brothers let go of their enslaving traditions. But not now. I'm afraid that, after what you did to my people, I will never forgive you.
I make sure my blade is always serrated and sharp - to cut through those cold scaly throats.

I wonder if Argonians feel any closer relationship with dragons? Both are reptile looking and both hatch from an egg unlike all the other races

Doubt it.

Skink and that Argonian from Redguard were both cool, but I find a lot of Argonians extremely boring or annoying.
Plus, they're ruled by trees. Just thought I'd throw that one out there....

About the Dumner... Sure, they were pricks, but they were cool pricks!

I've only just realised that I must be the most prominent poster with an Argonian-style name, and yet I call for the death of the Argonians every time they're mentioned. :tongue:

Because a LOT of people are really angry that the argonians took over Morrowind and kicked out the dunmer. Dunmer fans are almost as bad as the Chicago Cubs fans.

For me, they have been my favorite race since I got my first Elder Scrolls game. The EQ Iksar has something to do with it.

Us dunmer fans are a scary lot.

But Dunmer kept them as slaves at whatnot, it was merely revenge. They're a pretty noble bunch in Infernal City.

I have to say that you are not making a bad choice playing as an Argonian. But I dislike them because of there voice and I think that lizard people look kinda dumb. But in all fairness I have never really tried to play as them which is something I might try to do.

i don't hate them..but they are the most alien race in tes. All the others came from aldmer and nedes...except redguards i think, argonians came from the hist. For me i like my character to be sorta like a story, i can get into the game better, and i have a hard time getting into an argonians head

That said my first character was an argonian knight
