well thats realism for you. and thats what most people want. I on the other hand don't really care as long as I can read it I'm fine.and the wait between pages would be like what half a second I don't think thats such a big deal?.
I mean that our characters read in 3d/real time.. ie we see the pages turn.
I think the previous system worked fine, why make it more complicated? seeing the page turn means a delay between pages. I do not like this.
discuss.
All it really means is that the world doesn't unrealistically stop while you pull up a menu or read a book ... I don't see the beef with that...
Most people dont read the books, just flip right through to the end to up their 'books read' count and in morrowind I don't think you got the bonus the book gave(if any) till you finished flipping the pages.

is that what he's talking about?.that sound great now I can crouch in a dark corner and read while waiting for time to pass if for some reason I can't just wait for 5 hours normally.
They could still have the oblivion system and have time pass.
the issue is the cumbersomeness of it. There is another game where you turn pages in the options menu but I cant remember what it is.. but it was annoying.
