Thats all very nice but you completely miss my point. You will lose those buyers like me who boycott DRM.
And companies usually don't get rid of the DRM in games you can buy from the store.
And to the people who don't want to put their CDs in the drive: Have you ever played a game from about 5 years ago? There was nearly no DRM there and you had to play with the CD/DVD inside.
I see this the only way to keep control over the game I bought.
An online DRM server will take this control away from me so I don't support that.
You cannot fight the piracy war on the back of paying customers, I pay for my games, why do I have to be bothered with all the DRM checks? I bought the game and only have disadvantages, the pirates do get a better game experience than me.
A bit mixed up thoughts, but I think my point is clear
