I've been hearing that Bethesda said PS gamer's don't have to pay the monthly fee and Xbox one is forced to pay for both console and game fee and i don't believe that's fair PS doesn't have to pay . its like i have to pay more than I'm already paying and PS gets a pass to play free. they should make PS pay and Xbox not to because Xbox gamer's already pay just to play online. an example for this is one of my friends will have to tell his mom hey can u pay 180 dollars a year just to play 1 game even though i'm already pay for 60$ a year for membership that we cant really afford.

im not saying this for my inconvenience but for other gamers who love elder scrolls and people who also think its unfair, i hope they can change it but i guess if they wont be fair i cant really stop them

Because it's Sony's policy, not Zenimax. Sony stated, after announcing the PS+ subscription model, that MMOs that don't use their servers and any free-to-play games don't need PS+.

As yphan stated, it is Sony's policie not ZoS's.

ZoS attempted to negotiate with Microsoft for them to wave the Live fee and they refused. So blame MS for it.

Also PS players still have to pay the sub to ZoS, just not the sub to PS+
