not to mention people have already looked into the global config files and found both the 360 and ps3 values and found that the ps3 version runs at a lower resolution with some reduced effects

at first i didnt really care for a demo and would of waited for the tech anolysis after the game came out but now i really want to see if this is true as well as test to see what i can do with the nano suits

Look, Crytek. I know that a lot of people have been going on and on about a PS3 beta but, don't you think it would be a good idea? I mean, the 360 and PC is great and all but...where's the love for the PS3? Please please please just consider a PS3 beta. I really want to play Crysis more and help everyone else find these bugs and glitches with the game because I want Crysis 2 to succeed. Just one 2 or 3 week beta would be awesome. Thanks for reading.

I personally think that the PS3 version is a complete mess right now. Which would explain the lack of media, anywhere, from the PS3 version of the game. You would think, that for a developer trying to sell a "revolutionary new engine" would demonstrate that said engine can truly excel on multiple platforms.

Of course, CryTek can prove me wrong by producing a PS3 version of the game that matches the 360 version completely with no compromises, no matter how minor, on anything (textures, lighting, etc). Why do I hold them to such standards? Because of those comments they made regarding "their ease of developing on the PS3" and their pushing of Live Create. Show that your words actually mean something. So often have developers flat out lied in interviews with regards to their work, and I feel jaded.

But personally, I think that the PS3 version is going to suffer in the framerate, texture, and resolution department.
Hmmm...maybe you're right. Prove us wrong, Crytek and show that use had such "ease when developing the PS3 version of C2.

lol if you click on the link and look at the picture... that was from the cryengine 3 demo they showed at pax last year... the ps3 version frooze when they started the demo so it was only the pc and xbox demos that were running the ps3 wasn't.

if it comes after the pc beta it will be coming out after the game comes out because the pc demo is going to be a pre-release. Ive pre-ordered Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 so when crysis 2 comes out and it svcks for the ps3 ill be returning it and playing killzone 3.

there will be no other demo/beta after the PC.
The game should be finished mid Feb.

I don't really care about a Beta, but i do care for some footage. I don't want it to Mafia 2 on me(lesser PS3 version, though they admitted before release)
I have both consoles, and preordered on PS3 because they claimed it to be a bit better running on PS3. I want some pics or vids just
to show it is not inferior to the Xbox 360 version

i am prety sure all of us ps3 fans want em to see this but id rather they post something.

The PS3 should get a demo because regardless of whether or not the game is better or worse on the PS3 having a demo for every platform except for the PS3 immensely reduces buyer confidence because they're gonna wonder why and you know I am really excited for this game but my confidence is being tested because the Xbox 360 multiplayer demo did not look absolutely stellar, it looked decent but it did not look amazing like I expect from a Crytek game or maybe the 360 demo just looked subpar because the only way i could see Crysis 2 in action was by watch low resolution video on youtube...
