PS3 should get a demo. Every platform has gotten a demo except for the PS3. What kind of message does that send to the consumer? Now I understand that there may be reasons for not having a PS3 demo (technical issues, Microsoft exclusivity deals,...etc) but the lack of information is simply infuriating. There has been no comment by Crytek on this subject, NONE. They havent said a single thing and have simply ignored the issue and again I fail to see why. If you can't do it, say so; If you might do it, say so; if you wont do it, say so! Say something because the feeling of being ignored is horribleI agree completely with this. Whatever the reason, this is a case where silence is not golden. If it's to do with technical issues, there's nothing they can do to preserve sales numbers. We on the forums are the informed consumers, and almost every sale they get on the platform will be from people like us... people who don't pre-order if they haven't seen anything, and won't purchase it at all if it's technically inadequate.

If it's to do with marketing contracts, then just say so for christ sake, honestly. That way I don't have to sit here and whine like a little kid that can't have his toy. More than anything, it's a little on the disrespectful side. They are no doubt hard at work and I appreciate them trying to deliver a great multiplatform title, but if developers should know one thing about its userbase, it's that they are easily offended.

I don't feel like they're remaining silent to intentionally bother me, but it is beginning to bother me. Who makes an "equal" multiplatform game and gives a demo to 2/3 systems? Bulletstorm had a demo recently, notice how it appeared on both platforms, so did Dead Space. I wasn't planning on getting either, but the demos are fun, the versions are equal, and they delivered a demo to both platforms. Not much more to say than this is the model to follow. Both console userbases are practically the same size now and it makes no sense to leave almost half of the potential customers in the dark.

I'm trying to not sound like I'm entitled to anything, because I'm not, but I think I'm within the boundaries of being allowed to complain about something like this. If there are exclusivity deals in place or any other reasons for the lack of a demo I believe they would gain far more good will by simply saying so now than if they say nothing and wait until the week before release because by saying nothing they come off as deceitful.

It's still a controversy, I see....

Money is the motive. Microsoft payed for exclusivity, if crytek decides to make map packs or any other significant dlc, you can bet it will come out on 360 first.

Sorry but xbox isn't getting any early dlc due to the fact that ea is being abnormally supporting to the ps3 with exclusive content and some early dlc . I don't think they are going to stop that with crysis 2

Well you never know. We got the black ops DLC a month earlier. Microsoft will go to some ends to buy exclusivity lol

that would make sense but there has been no ps3 footage since the game was announced and the only thing we got was its performing well

Crytek does read your views about not getting a demo and they know what to do next. Have you guys ever thought that the reason the Xbox got a beta could be because it may have had more issues that the ps3 and they wanted the public to info them in the issues? The PS3 Crysis2 may be complete and perfect and so as the PC crysis2. So just wait for the game to come out read the review and by it or not end of story.

I don't think they have gotten the message yet we need all people with a ps3 to post here demanding a demo! I DEMAND A DEMO.

Nah, we'll get a console port that was made on the PC.

I hope we can get some of the milk the PC & the X360 are getting.

I pre-ordered the game a month ago or more, but would still really like a PS3 demo before it comes out. It would be just plain rude not to release one now that both the PC and the 360 have one.
