well you know those 2 years ago crytek was really focusing on the ps3 and they just recently started to focus on the 360 so I am betting you that crytek wont leave ps3 players behind since this is not a xbox -> ps3 port but a simultaneous optimization for both consoles.

I doubt that is the time line of development. But I am fine with losing the bet if it means a like-for-like release, so similar, that pixel counters can't tell the tell the difference between the console versions. Because that is the standard I am holding Crytek to. I know what they can do on the PC, now show me what you can do with an engineering nightmare that is known as the Cell.

You just got to yell and threaten not to buy it if you don't get a demo. Money talks. And Crytek knows we mean it, because there are "other" ways of getting a "demo".
PC Gamers have to yell at Crytek. We don't know how we'll run it at all without a demo. A PC Demo is NEEDED or people will most likely pirate Crysis 2. It's just more than money, dude.

Which is not what I want from CryTek. I want both versions exactly the same, with neither platform outperforming the other. Show me what UE3 and Crystal Tools could not.

why do I cometo such a short conclusion, here's why?
1. No Coverage at all (Video footage of the game on the Ps3)
2. They choose Microsoft as their main target audience, for the exposure and to hopefully over-generate in sales.
3. Every Developer/Programmer Agrees that it's allot easier to write Code & Program Data on the 360 than PS3.
4. Majority IF not all Multiplatform games SELL allot more on the 360 than the PS3 FACT!
5. This Last one is just my collective thoughts, my opinion CRYTEK may help MS with 2 things in the future EXCLUSIVES we all know MS are capable of buying rights to allot of games we've seen that with DLC. Also think about this When The Xbox 720 comes into development who BEST to have on board than CRYTEK with it's CryEngine 3 or Maybe 4 to help Build the 720 graphically to be allot superior than it's predecessor (aye these are just my thoughts into why CRYTEK choose MS as there main Conteneder for selling such a huge title, look at this way, CRYSIS 1 was released on PC so why didn't they get the DEMO first? & why is every footage since the news of CRYSIS 2 been Xbox 360 related in terms of video footage)? U guys feel me?

Ps3 will have Killzone 3 soon, right?
Killzone 3 will have better graphics, vehicles, co-op, 32 players online, well known game series, not CoDish gameplay but it's own exclusive etc.
A demo for Crysis to compare with the Killzone demo would probably just hurt Crysis since it can't compete with a platform-exclusive game. :/

I think is due to the agreement with Micro$oft. They can't show something that will look better and will be a better play experience than in the xcrap.

And.. Killzone? You mean Sonys version of a evil Halo should be better than the successor of Crysis one ?
If Crysis 2 is anywhere near Crysis 1 it will beat every console game ever made with both hands down.
At least in the Singleplayer mode. Sorry that i cant share your feelings about those arcade shooters like Killzone and Halo.

lol actually I look at killzone as ww2 in the future, I dont see many similarities between halo and killzone, but i can see how some people would, and I love the feel for killzone a real weighteness to you character, and I like both games (crysis and killzones) singleplayer their unique in there own ways

I admit that the recent release of MP footages and behind the scene videos of Killzone 3 are really intriguing me...And what's more, we're gonna get a demo of killwone 3 in february! Crytek be careful, ps3 players are gonna defect to Killzone 3

My opinion is that the PS3 demo is coming, but later than the Xbox and PC demo. If Microsoft hasn`t paid EA and CryTek the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 had got the demo on the same time.

I'm not sure if crytec got the damn message by now,I am not even sure they're reading this but if they are they better put a god damn demo out or at least some gameplay from the final product so we can see what we are buying. Us ps3 fans need to get this topic to the list of hot topic so that crytec and EA can see that we mean what we say.

yeah and we have what 2 months before the game give or take since today is January-29-11 if we get one it will probably late February and by then i will have a different game but if so that game can wait Crysis2 more important

Their marketing agreement with microsoft obviously doesn't mean that much if they are bringing out a pc demo. But why does it seem that with every game ps3 owners are getting the short end of the stick. Crytek, ￡40 is a lot of money to spend, so give us a demo and we will then know.

For the people who blame ea, EA IS ON SONY'S SIDE RIGHT NOW, while CRYTEK on the other hand IS MAKING AN EXCLUSIVE for the XBOX 360.
