I for one, never based myself on reviews to buy a game, i look at footage and form an opinion for myself. I don't really trust reviews because they tend to be biased one way or another.
Being spoiled with information is also another reason, the more you hype yourself for a game, the higher your expectations will be and it leaves more situations to be dissapointed.

So people, leave those review threads alone and wait to play the game.
