Thats not to bad. There are some good points to that sort of system. My only concern is if they try and push that auto update feature steam used. That thing was just a terrible idea.

Define "fun." Consoles will almost certainly get weapons, armor and clothing mods, hair and face mods, some of the house mods, some of the new lands mods and some of the simpler game mechanic tweaks. Censorship issues aside, what probably won't make it to consoles are the complex mods that require third-party utilities to run (script extenders, leveled list merger programs, reproccers, ect).
Again, you won't get the same freedom of mods and console commands as you do on PC. http://kotaku.com/how-fallout-4-mods-will-work-on-console-1711829641
I think you need use console commands to fix your crystal ball lol
well I don't care about nudity or porm, or anything ripped off from other games, I want normal fun content
Thank the Eight Divines that you won't get to see them then
I spent half that for my PC and that's because I splurged on a few of the parts. You can get a great PC experience for $450. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKcrrOKXRdI&index=2&list=PLTW2MN17j-L2iftY8hrTSW1GJRZNvy3vb PC is also backwards compatible I own all the Fallouts and TES games as well as a number of great games that were PC exclusives. All that aside I game on the PC because I don't need Microsoft or Sony telling me what I can and can't do with hardware I paid for.
Agreed, never used exploits, glitches, hacks or console commands (on PC) to cheat. I play the game as intended thanks OP.
The article is poorly worded at some parts. But it mentions approval in regards to Microsoft and Halo assets. Later on the author says it 'slams the door shut' in regards to nudity.
Apparently poster is a PC gamer too. I'm sure he was just "pretending to be ignorant" regarding the true costs of PC gaming...
What ever do you mean?
Yeah I pretty much only use console commands to fix script related bugs. It's a bare essential when playing Bethesda titles imho
haha I can get a fairly good PC for £600-£700 here, the US is cheaper
Then I don't understand why you are limiting yourself to consoles when it comes to playing Fallout 4. That just doesn't seem like a healthy choice...
Anyway, I hope you try to enjoy your limited Fallout experience.
Im special and haven't had any quests on my ps4 break ever ( 6-9 character runs now ). Or really any noticeably major bugs. ( the mm radio guy stopped broadcasting but that was really a good thing at that point lol )
Pc users generally have more options for these kinds of things, its always been like this and unless you were told this was going to be the case for consoles for ps4/x1 why is it even a thing to argue about....
I got a ps4 because ive never seen one break down on me and theyre sturdy as hell. And use my laptop for Pillars of E., Baldurs, and IWD. Clearly I don't expect this laptop to be doing anything special or amazing lol.
Xbox gave me numerous problems, and pc makes me impatient to the point where ive smashed good laptops due to the stupid problems I encounter. I never in my history of having pc's and games for them kept anything more than a few years due to durability problems and my lack of maintenance on them.
I wonder if half the people complaining pc is better for mod/consoles commands stuff know pc is indeed in league of its own kinda....Games that are multi platform are going to excel on the platform that can help fix/change/mod the code or add things to assist it run better. For some reason this doesn't happen as well on consoles. I don't care or know why but personally I at least knew that pc's have more options and made my choice based on affordability, stability and my personally opinion/experiences. If I was into mods or using console commands to change things I would have taken that into account. Did anyone else? or did you guys just jump on whatever console you personally thinks the best no matter what?
If I wanted to dump 1000 into a laptop or pc again for the third time I would have done it. But personally the way I see it is if your that ground up over loosing an exploit for making a bajillion items and have no interest in playing the game, you need a break. Take one and when your back youll have a dlc and maybe access to mods by then. I love this game but theres only so much I can do ,and yes it svcks now that the one think I enjoyed for the past 2 months is over but that's life kiddos.
Now imagine going back in time to where consoles didn't get patch support at all. Enjoy that nostalgia rofl.
TLDR: Just don't be lazy and read it, but imo pcs are in a league of their own and make modding/ccomands easier. Though with Mod kit soon youll have your precious exploits back and then some. Im still convinced they did it to fix other problems, as thats all I got when I did try the shipment exploiting.
Stability, got sick of crashing issues on PC, on the console I'm guessing mods will have to be well tested and conflicts will be easier to fix.
My current Fallout 4 save file is several hundred hours long and nearly 20MB big and I haven't had any crashes with it. Must be all the weird mods you had that crashed them lol
That's funny. I don't feel limited. I guess I should go buy another computer for 900 and get this amazingly different version of the same game. rofl...
I played the game, like anyone else. The mods and such are "added" content by other people. Not fallout 4 or what fallout 4 was intended. The point about it being limiting is a joke. Making decisions based on various factors is actually quite a healthy thing to do.
Even if I had FO4 on pc I wouldn't mod it unless there was something related to maybe haircuts.
He prob meant similar to me, just general pc crashes and problems in general, always. My ps systems have generally always worked for at least 10 years no problems until games get too big for them and its upgrade time.
I guess so if I haven't seen any problems and have had an amazing experience even though I don't have all teh super special mods that apparently make this game how it was intended by the developers lol
OMG, I can't believe I read the whole thing.
Lots of suppositions.
This thread is about one post short of a console war.
The "cheap phone" anology just about sums up the whole thing.
And the greatest divide in this thread is about the M$/ SONY gatekeepers hold on their respective systems constraining what can happen on said systems.
And finally, a whole lot of disingenuous posters...
1. You live in post-apocalyptic world. You are not entitled to have unlimited resource
2. It`s unintended glitch
3. It`s part of the game design
4. Keepl playing or Move on
**I also do not play video games on PC anymore.
because running game on PC alone just puts me out of any mood instantly to relax and play video game. lol
Dealing with mod-manager and mod-crash, absolutely no thank you, haha. (FNV would be very exception just because FNV Console version was super terrible to unplayable level)
Also if I have power like PC-console, I will abuse the earth out of it.
I played FO4 over 550 hours to find the weapon I want and try all different perks..and enjoyed the process A LOT.
If I was on PC I would have used console to just create whatever weapon I like and be done with game for maybe less than 100 hours.
I am still looking for many weapons and the game continues !!
Real problem exists only with PC players claiming following two things.
1. Why are people complaining about this? We have console commands
2. Why are people complaining about that? We have mod
...Those people might as well as say nothing if they don`t wanna reveal how self-centered they are. lol
Most FO4 players are not on PC, and not all PC users use mod or console commands.
