So i'v played a few games from the Tales series, and i'v never had an issue with the combat. I'v always found I was able to easily get into it and do fine with it.
But this game is kicking my ass in the first 30 seconds. All I do is find myself getting my ass HANDED to me in almost every fight, and I mean, ever fight. I can't even get into 3 battles without my entire team being completely dead.

Is their some trick I am missing? Or am I just a complete [censored] that can't play this game?

:shrug: It was easy for me of course I have a bugged copy so I can't advance beyond a certain point.

The Tales series isn't a walk in the park like most modern JRPG series. *coughFFcough*

Well i'v played a few of the Tales games over the years. They use the same basic battle system with tweaks. But clearly I am missing some all important tactic or something because I am getting [censored] wrecked. Lol.

Did you read the manual? Maybe it has some tips.

lol wut? The Tales games are hard? Since when? Most of the Tales games I've played really aren't that difficult (haven't gotten to play Eternia yet) and once you level up enough, just like any rpg, you don't have too many problems with enemies.

They're not really hard, but other games are too easy.
