Why the devs aren't participating to discussions?

And the few here aren't a large enough demographic to really affect sales....or the revenue generated by "exclussives"

DING! They're under nondisclosure agreements and can't release any game related info. Well, unless it's cleared through PR (assuming the latter)

It wasn't always this way. During Oblivion's development, there were many devs around talking about stuff in the game. *Sigh* I miss MSFD...he was a goldmine! ) I'm not sure what the timing was in relation to release, maybe interaction will increase towards the game's release.

(Note: Typing on a touchscreen) As stated a million times by both Pete and others, then reiterated by forum members.

Because of the outcry and backlashes against Bethesda after Oblivion's release due to them not being able to push in a lot of the tech demoed, Beth decided this time around the flow of info would be smaller and more official(ie Most of what they'll mention HAS to be slated for the game.) and as we see now it wasn't that Beth was lazy on Oblivion, their modified gamebryo engine couldn't handle it.

Kind of brought on by the internet and forum members themselves. I won't bother asking if your happy with yourselves.

Thanks guys for your great work!

Actually it was:

Todd is holding a gun to my head. Thankfully, he doesn't know morse code. Send help.

You messed up some punctuation. :P I had my dad who used to be an army radio operator conveniently home from work, so I asked him and he ran in a translated it. :P

I love you guys. :hugs: :tes:

Anyway I prefer that they don't tell us every little detail on Skyrim much like Bioware's developers instead popping out on occasion in threads like this along with the official Dev thread creating much amusemant.

I'm curious if they cannot accept any more ideas because the game is already set. They're now working their asses off to be ready by november.

I'm waiting for a developer to come along, post up a screenshot of an in-game werewolf, throw a red "X" over it and say, "See that? That's a werewolf. It was going to be in-game for everyone here to enjoy, but because of you, it's now nothing more than a shattered dream." I'd hate to be you after that..

Don't be a dike. If they won't put it into the game is very likely they can't.

"Wadsworth, am I right in thinking that there is nobody else in this house?"
"Um, no"
"Then there is somebody else in the house?"
"No, sorry. I said no meaning yes."
"'No meaning yes'!? Look, I want a straight answer, is there someone else or isn't there, yes or no?"
"Um...no."
"No, there is? Or no, there isn't?"
"Yes."

Brilliant. Thank heavens I have the DVD so I can enjoy the multiple endings.
