so i joined the fighters guild in daggerfall and keep doing quests for them, but every once in a while, while im out on a quest, the place will be locked at all times during the day and i wont be able to go in to collect my money. This happened once after a scorpion quest, eventually i gave up and just reloaded an early game. Now i just busted my ass doing a stupid werewolf quest for them in some random dungeon and the place is locked again, i dont want to reload an earlier game because that quest was a pain in the ass! does anyone else have this problem?

The Fighters GUild, Mages Guild, and the Knightly Orders are all closed from 11PM to 11 AM. (Once you make level 8 in the Mages Guild it's open 24/7. Don't know about the others).
If you have completed a quest and can get into the Guild (any "open" spell will unlock the door) the quest giver will be there but all other members will be absent.

Yeah oddly and irritating the fighters guild closes. Kinda makes the free lodging moot. But a locked door is nothing a good weapon can fix.

Actually, he means rank 8 in mage's guild. Level 8 sounds like character level. I'm sure everyone understood, but just in case.
