Why is the Junk Jet in Fallout 4 but not Fallout 3

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 2:40 pm

I was watching the making of Fallout 3 and they were showing the Junk Jet in action, but I was under the assumption it was a new weapon, I guess not. So what happened to it in Fallout 3?

In Fallout 3 it is the Rock-it Launcher.

Same thing really. Big bulky weapon that shoots random junk towards hostiles at lethal velocity and comic fashion.

What everyone else said. It's in Fallout 3 in Megaton. Well the schematic anyway.

You have to make it after getting the schematic.

I never made it myself, but people say it's a lot of fun to use.

Yes, it's one of the weapons you have to craft yourself, after finding or buying a schematic for it. I think it needed a vacuum cleaner, leaf blower, and some other stuff.

No clue where the schematic were, but The Vault to the rescue: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Schematics_-_Rock-It_Launcher

That and if ya doing a big guns build it's a reliable weapon when ya low on ammo for the more familiar big guns.

I got it but I never used it either, its fun for about 3 seconds until you realize holding ammo for other guns is a lot easier then holding lots of junk...

If I can I would put this on display at my house instead, its a fun item but not a practical one. I hope display cases make it into fallout this time.

I'm hoping the tactical junk jet will be far superior to the its predecessor, as I found it a little unimpressive.

I'm sure the ability to electrify, or set your teddy bear ammunition ablaze will be better than a regular rock-it-launcher.

Holly molly! I didn't know you could add those items to it, that's fantastically awesome with a double scoop of amazing on top! These 8 days remaining will seem like a life time.

Both electricity and flame are modification you can make to the junkjet. Shown ever so slightly during the crafting bit. It'll be pretty cool to see ingame

Hey man thx for the info, you've restored my faith in this weapon. I must have missed the flickering details of what we've seen so far & there's me thinking i caught everything at the e3. I wonder what other surprises I will encounter on my Fallout 4 journey across the wasteland.

No problem man, just sharing what little info we've got. I'm sure there's a ton of surprises in store for everyone playing the game.
