WHY? is there are no cheats in this game (console version)? : Crysis

the PC version has cheats like infinite ammo, invicibility, etc.
why there re no cheats for console version? (its not that necessary but i want to have fun with these cheats).

I don't know, it probably does have it somewhere in there, but the codes aren't accessible to us console players. It might be that JTAG users MIGHT use these codes to be able to play online with them. Crytek were most likely protecting their own asses as well as their players... Sorry I can't help on this matter, otherwise I would have tried.

Just proves that, even with the game being a lot easier than the PC version, people will STILL hack their console in order to get those bloody achievements... Microsoft has spawned a new race of addicts... To top it off, they seem to be hacking the disc too... Which is worse.

Oh, okay, I see what you're asking about.
Well, I played the first Crysis, so what you're referring to is the Developer Console, which doesn't really even work in Crysis 2
It was basically made for developers of mods or even the game to bug test and set up variables, but people use it for singleplayer cheating.
No game on Xbox or PS3 has EVER had Developer console, and they probably won't. I doubt any console will have it, since they are made for playing the games, not making them. (In Crysis 2, a lot of the commands people would use for cheats in Crysis 1 don't work anymore, because Crytek doesn't want hackers like there were in the first game. There still are.)

no i dont mod or hack etc, i mean official cheats like most other games like GTA 4 thats what i mean....

Down, A, Right, Left, Right, R Trigger, Right, Down, Up, Y Infinite health (Explosions, drowning, and falling will still hurt.)

Cheats

Enter these codes on the main menu:

Hard Mode - Highlight "New Game" and hold LEFT, L1, R2, SELECT, SQUARE, X, CIRCLE.

Enter these codes on the pause subscreen:

Get Weapons and Infinite Ammo - Highlight "Weapons" and hold RIGHT, L2, R2, SQUARE, X, CIRCLE.

Power Up 9mm Gun - Highlight the 9mm gun and hold LEFT, L1, R2, SELECT, SQUARE, X.

Get All Levels - Highlight "Select Mission" and hold LEFT, L1, R1, SELECT, SQUARE, X.

Enemies Die Easily - Highlight "Map" and hold RIGHT, L2, R1, X.
