BoS are in the Mojave, go to Hidden Valley, don't get shot, they aren't nice guys like the ones on the East Coast, these guys are like the actual main BoS, the BoS proper.

If the Outcasts made the trip back from DC, they probably went to the Lost Hills Bunker, they wouldn't have stopped in the Mojave.

Holy crap on a stick with extra mustard, son. You just picked the wrong day to ask a question like this. Today's what I like to call "Freaky Crazy Nerdrage Day". It happens every night before a game or DLC release. And you gotta go ask a question just begging to be stomped on by the Dinosaurs. Stomped on like a danish ant by a clog shod Olga. Run for the nearest bunker and hunker down tight. Good luck, son. You're gonna need it. Make sure you save the last round for yourself.

Because the outcast split from the east coast BoS because elder lyon wanted to focus on helping the people of the DC wasteland instead of focusing on the BoSs true goal. That has not happend in the Mojave sector which means that there isn′t any outcasts.

Thats because the Outcast were originally part of the DC Chapter of the BoS. As stated, they most likely went to Lost Hills, and didn't bother stopping in the Mojave.

The BoS in the Mojave basically are the Outcasts. The Outcasts in DC broke off from Elder Lyons' chapter because he "went native" and abandoned the mission, which was to gather technology and to hell with the welfare of the locals.

It's Lyons' BoS chapter in DC that are the real outcasts from the organization.

Gunny, the Dinosaurs don't "stomp on" anyone, we are primarily scavengers or pack-hunters, not big enough to tackle large prey in such a manner.

The Outcasts may think they are the winners, but the BoS has access to the Enclave's gear since they wont be "needing it" anymore, and they have Liberty Prime. They lucked out in the end.

Lyon's Brotherhood was a splinter faction, while the Outcasts in DC wanted to remain true to the Brotherhood's original ideals. So the Brotherhood you see in Vegas ARE the Outcasts.

Then again.... troll, anyone?

I think the Lyons BoS had the right idea of splintering. They take on locals to become initiates, and they try to make friends. Since the standard BoS has no friends and they don't have many troops, they will be ant food soon.

You don't see anything wrong with giving wastelanders Power Armor? You've got to be joking, their literally giving the wasteland the cutting-edge warmongering equipment of Pre-War, that's asking for someone to blow something up.

Initiates get Recon Armor at the most. By the time they are Knighted, they are full on members of the BoS. Hidden Valley is doomed to fail. DC BoS has their own set of problems, but they will last longer than the MW BoSers.

What? If anything, the MWBoS is much better off than the CWBoS, for they do what you say its good the CWBoS does, but are much more controlling of technology.

Locals are NCR grunt meat. You gotta have skills if you want to join the BoS. No screw that, royal blood line or nothing buddy.

Hoarding tech is useless if you cant use it, or don't have anyone to use it. The BoS is finished by their own doing. Good riddance anyways.

Do you even know what the BoS is about? Preventing another Great War by not letting people make advances in weaponry or related technology.

The BoS is becoming more irrelevant by the day. People are starting to actually build their own stuff rather than scavenge it, although there are still many great things to be found. The Boomers have found their bomber, for example. Couldn't that thing cause another Great War by itself in a post apocalyptic world? Van Graffs deal energy weapons. You can hide in your bunker if you want, but the world will make technological advances without them. In fact, I don't think the BoS is becoming irrelevant, I think they already are.

They were relevant back in the day, and I'm sure they would kill the Boomers and slaughter the Van Graffs if they didn't fear the NCR, and started acting like the MWBoS.

I have no doubt they were relevant back when a Laser Rifle and Power Armor was all you needed. But when you look at Post Apocalyptia these days, it just seems different. I just don't see any practical purpose of having the BoS keep doing what it's been doing. Sure, back in say, 2098, if a raider came across some high value tech, he would unleash hell. But that doesn't really mean much today.

If you refuse to adapt, you will be destroyed. They are on that path.
