Why is there a Whiterun guard in my Whiterun house?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 9:16 pm

Seriously BRAH, GET THE **** OUT.
So annoying. Dude then starts chatting me up standing at the door. Wish I could kill him without insta bounty

That just started happening to me. Twice already. On top of that, one of my swords from the weapon rack was on the floor. I believe I just walked on a possible break in and robbery.

He's investigating that report you filed about getting your sweetroll stolen.

He was probably too close to you when you entered the house, and got pulled in with you. He should leave on his own.

If you talk to someone outside and there hap way through there sentence I think they go in your house but then leave. Or it could be if you did a dragon shout and you went into your home while being followed by a guard telling you to stop shouting. If the cause is from shouting they will stay in that place for the rest of the game as there daily schedule gets changed. To fix this, hit the guard (but don't kill him) run out of your house he will follow sheath your weapon and he should not re-enter. Hoped this helped.

EDIT: Don't worry the bounty for physical abuse in skyrim is 40 gold I believe, I'm sure you can cough up the dosh.

The Champion of Azura doesn't talk to guards, they talk to me! (but yeah, he was probably blabbin and followed me in)

The rage I felt at his intrusion, I didn't want to hit him. I wanted to kill the chump  But I don't kill good NPCs in game so I can't  But yeah, I think he left

Yeah I have had a child walk into my home and say 'Dogs elders, there's nobody I won't fight' I was so scared. I tried to kill her and she was IMMORTAL. Just like all kids in skyrim.

Yeah I was in Whiterun, going over to Breezehome. Adrianne started talking to me about something as I went inside. Next thing I know, she's in there with mbe. She said another line of dialouge, then walked outside.

Now that old lady followed me in. ... grrr. She walked out right away tho. I don't like home invasions, but maybe that's just me.

Yeah, at one point I got tired of hearing little kids tell me their dad is stronger than me and stuff. So i decided to hit one. Figured out they were immortal.

Are you using a mod that changes followers? Because I had the same thing happen when I tried one that improved all the followers by making them essential, giving them things like the Light Step perk, etc... Once I disabled the mod, Faendal found his clothing again.

I wouldn't mind it. The Jarl gets a small army to defend him and his hold, so why not give the Thane a security guard to guard his stuff while he's away?

Maybe you have the Community Patch on. It is where all the folk of the cities come over and have tea justafdtyer you arrive home. Better have a good supply of sweetrolls.

I get folk walking in to Breezehome as well. They are usually talking to or at me when I am opening the door. They leave when they are finished their conversation. It is not like a dose of the Bible Botherers so be happy with that.
