Why Todd Howard Is Fricken' Awesome

Post » Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:19 am

Just reading an IGN interveiw which i havnt read yet that has happily confirmed things like Enchanting and stuff.. read it for yourself youll see. http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/115/1158651p1.html
But at the end i just laughed my dragon scale socks off.

Quote:

"IGN: Is there a unicorn in the game?
Todd Howard: Thats DLC. For 100 Dollars
...
IGN: Can you levitate?
Todd Howard: Another DLC. 300 Dollars"

Oh that Todd Howard! How we love you!

Since this thread is about Todd Howard, it really doesn't belong here.

Wow that is OLD. You could be helpful for the newer members of this community, such as yourself, by giving the link to that article. At least that way this thread isn't useless (though I'd admit, Todd did turn out to be a cool guy with these answers :P).

Imagine if Peter Molyneux (game designer for Fable 2 and 3) would have been the one leading Skyrim's development. The horror!!! :shocking:

Todd is cool.

Todd Howard should be put in the dictionary, after 'today' and before 'toddler'

No, when you are a video game producer from a company that's been around for two decades you can do that and everybody cautiously laughs.

Oh calm down, all I've seen of you're posts are how threads are pointless.
You have the potential to say something relevant. I'll start you off: Why the bloody hell is this in the pictures? :spotted owl:
I mean... why? Its just an owl. Siting there.

Instead of Khajiit you could play as a dog race and be able to have puppies...Oh and the final boss "Alduin" dies by the use of a music box.

I like to make room for the threads that actually have to do with what I'm interested in, which is everything about Skyrim. That's why I'm on the Skyrim forum. If it's off topic, rehashed, spam, or incites flaming do not ever expect a contribution on my part.

All I've seen of your posts are you discussing things that don't pertain to the subject at hand. Go figure.

Love you too. And seeing as this is about an interview on Todd Howard about Skyrim, I think its relevant enough.
It even has as link. And you still haven't mentioned the lonely owl :spotted owl:

I agree--Todd Howard is pretty awesome! I love how much of a smart-ass he can be. His sense of humor is great!
And thanks for the link, OP--I hadn't seen this one yet.

Well, you ARE contributing to making this thread useless because YOU are always attacking everybody. If you are so disinterested in this thread and it didn't do anything for you, can't you just do the COURTEOUS thing and not comment at all, thereby ignoring it? That seems the better option to me...

No matter how much I disagree with some of his design decisions, I do like the guy.

I'm attacking everybody? Who am I attacking exactly? Look at my first post then look at the single reply I got from it. That was fairly rude and I responded accordingly.
