Why do my trees look like this?

Post » Fri May 17, 2013 1:27 am

Anyone know how to post images or something because it wont let me do links?

i was going up to see the greybeard's and thought i would look off the cliff at the view, only to find that these ugly trees apeared to have no shadow on them or anything. i also get this problem with some grasses at night where whole fields will just be yellow as if they were in complete sunlight. I should also point out that i am using mods although i am not sure which mod can be causing this or how i can fix this. I have a feeling it may be climates of tamriel lite off steam causing this but i really dont know. Any help is appreciated

Have you tried uninstalling Climates of Tamriel lite then? Also, are you using any mods that affect fauna like trees and grass?

If you can, please list your mods in their current load order.

That depends on if you use any mod managers.

It might be due to the mods which affect the lighting. Also, do you use BOSS to sort your mods into the correct load order?

Go ahead and post a link to your screen, so I can get a better idea of what's happening.

Try to disable Climates of Tamriel and see what happens. It sounds like that could be it, because in my experience CoT have had some lighting looking off/wrong on trees and grass.
