Why was my head Scar removed?

Post » Wed Dec 01, 2010 6:26 am

Ok, in Point lookout I got a headscar which I thought was actually pretty neat.

When I left Point Lookout, the gods in their wisdom decided to remove it.

What? How? Why?

Anyway to prevent this from happening and being able to leave Point Lookout with it?

No -- if you don't get it removed by Nadine, it goes away after a while. Nadine both says this, and it's also in the wiki. Sorry. ;)

Do you PC gamers just reply "There's a mod for that" to everything? ;)

I was just playin', too ;) It's just funny, I always think I'm sooooo smart and then someone comes along (ghouls) and says "here's what you're looking for".

So...I'll go back to my corner now...

Thankyou very much. I should have known, being a PC player that they`d be a Mod for that. Great!

Still makes me wonder what the heck got into the Devs to apply a scar, give you the option to remove the Scar by nadine, but then they remove it anyway whether you want to or not. Crazy. :swear:

Thanks again, ghoulsrpeople2.

Um yes. I guess my companion female NPC would`ve freaked too if she`d got the scar (as she has blue hair), but me, nah, it just looks meaner which equals better.

Oh no! I never even looked to see what it looked like. Where would I have found a mirror anyway?

On the 360, if I hold the button (LB) to switch to third-person and then twirl the right anologue stick, it will move the camera around and I can gaze upon my avatar in all her glory, haha. Something similar on PC...?

I first got a glance at the scar when I used VATS for the first time after "waking up".

We totally need a 'Let me mod that for you' web page that searches Nexus for a mod solution to everyone's problems. :P

You can hold down the middle mouse button to move the camera around your character. The head scar was cool for a screenshot, but I got rid of it the first chance I got.

Talking about the head scar. I have now found out who removed part of my brain. And got it back in a jar which sits in my home on the top shelf in Megaton.

Have you seen how BIG that bit of brain is??? They can`t be serious- No one can adequately function with what looks like nearly a THIRD of your brain removed!

I should be walking about bumping into things like a zombie unable to do anything. That`s a lobotomy job that is! :cold:

WHHHAAAAT! I've asked in 3 different threads for a mod that did that, and now I find you don't need one!

That's like the 'how do I stow my weapon?' question, pretty sure it's not in the manual!

So few people read the manual. The first thing I do is check the options (where it`s configurable). Then failing that, the manual.

It takes longer asking here than doing that, but never mind.... I see it all the time. Good thing no one here controls a nuclear power plant.

I always pretend that the cyborg perk replaces the missing piece of brain with some tech. :shocking:
