....ITS A TRAP!!!!!!!!!! :nuke:
Just got to be aware of your suroundings and disarm the traps. Either that or run into the tripwire/landmine/grenade cluster/rigged shotgun/weighted deadfall before your companions do.

Just inside the gate is a trip wire linked to a bunch of grenades, you failed to notice this when you opened the door and walked right in setting it off. You fail to disarm a trap you only have yourself to blame.

The confined space of the room and the tunnel make it a very deadly trap the grenades have no room to spread out. Rushing in ahead won't save the companions if their near by. Only disarming or leaving them further back in wait mode will do it.

That happens to be one of the deadliest traps in the Mojave. One tripwire sets off three grenade clusters. As was mentioned above, nine grenades going off in a confined space = instant death.

As has been said above, I quite liked what they done with it; it reminded me of a certain general store in FO3 with a really eccentric mechanism that gave out Mini-Nukes.

Not to mention the caves inhabitants. ;)
Also, save before exiting this cave too. Unless you like dying over and over as a nice quicksave.

If you're no good at disarming traps, open the gate and then toss a stick of dynamite in from a safe distance. :) Some of your loot will then be flung violently around the level, but hey, can't have everything.
