Everyone in the Mojave Wasteland is bat [censored] insane and the battle of the great divide will just be the courier beating his head against a rock for 5 hours while screaming War Never Changes.

So.....you're saying that JohnsonNash wouldn't know you're the same person..WRONG

He wouldn't if you were wearing faction armour the first time.

It all makes sense now. The courier is just like superman. A slight change of clothing and he becomes unrecognizable.
"Oh hey, finish that job yet?"
*Courier puts on an NCR helmet.*
"Who the hell are you?!"

Faction armour's great. You can walk through the Fort wearing Caesar's gear and it takes a dog to go "Hang on..."

(Animals are eerily radioactively smart like that. Sneak kill a soldier and if a nearby Gecko spots you it'll point the finger. "It was him! Shun his ass!")

Ulysses and The Courier are actually one in the same.
The Courier merely has multiple personality disorder .
He runs around the wasteland chasing an enemy that isn't there, and leaving "clues" only for himself to find later.
I can't believe this hasn't become obvious to you guys yet.

I like this theory. Not because I think it's likely to be the case, but because it's different from all the other speculation on the boards.

As to the op... when does Ulysses tell the courier to go home? Are you talking about the message on the bus at the wreckage? The one that says: "Courier you can go home"? That one? Funny thing, I happened upon that wreckage last night and, you know... I didn't see anybody's signature under the message.

horses are extinct in fallout...I think the people ate them.

We still do not know if Ulysses is friend or foe. Or his relation to the Courier.

I also believe that eventually we will get DLC content of the Courier's actual home. Perhaps Ulysses is making a subtle threat to the Courier (if he is bad). Personally in the future dlc I hope we eventually find out a lot more about the main character. All the other main characters got one.

My only issue with the dlc content is that it tends to be separate from everything else and in the effect of Dead Money may not let us return to the content area. By doing this patch they could easily make the DLC content more widespread.

You also have to begin asking yourself what is the personality from 3 that will be appearing? Is it related to the Courier or Ulysses?

So the Courier dreams about a guy with dreadlocks.

Hmmm.

I thought there were at least seven couriers (including the one that backed out at the last minute). You sure are self-centered to think the message was left for you....lol.
And the message to go home might mean that someone needs his help ASAP back at his original HOME.

Well, then it would say "courior, come home" at least I would think. And, where is "home"?
