Why would I want Ulfrics sweaty clothes?

Why would i want his clothes as a reward?!?!

I'm in the legion! gimme some armour like http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/6007/testai4.jpg Rewards were horrendous in Skyrim. The only decent rewards were through Daedric quests.

They are not the reward. Have some dignity and leave the man with his clothes on.

There should be enough reward in liberating Skyrim from whatever is your enemy at a given playthrough. At least the damn war is done with.

Ulfric's clothes are pretty badass.

Shamefull that I can't say the same about the female version, then again I am Stormcloak so for me it does not matter anyway.

My build calls for his gauntlets and boots.

I must obey

I stripped him and pranced around Windhelm wearing it. Even talked to the Ulfric-loving blacksmith in the same city. Oh, and I routinely attack Stormcloak settlements wearing Ulfric's outfit as well.

I agree there.

After beheading Rikke with my blade, I left her in her armor aswell. Thought that would be appropriate after ending her life in such a chaotic and brutal way. I prefered the blow to be less brutal out of respect, but killcam did not allow me to.

His corpse as a pack mule was my reward.

Yeah, quest rewards in Elder Scrolls are often crappy lol. Hopefully that eventually gets better.

I don't know about that, Morrowind had some pretty good artifacts as rewards.

Meh. Some were, most weren't. Most good things you could get on your own.

I rarely take people's clothes. If it's a bandit that attacked me out of nowhere, I might, but if it's someone I know, it just feels wrong so I usually leave them as they are. I don't mind taking their stuff when there's only an ashpile left however, probably because I won't have to see their naked corpse lying pathetically on the ground afterwards.

My preference for quest rewards would be less stuff and more unique things like buffs and abilities (like the Apocrypha rewards). Too much of the unique artifact stuff just makes me feel burdened with the responsibility to look after it. I just want to throw it away, but that wouldn't be 'right'.

And I clicked on this thread to read about the people who wanted his clothes to sleep in, or smell, or something. C'mon, don't disappoint me...

So I see Imperials love sniffing other peoples clothing.

Hardly. But one can smell the stench from a mile away. Did Ulfric ever bathe? Yesh!

I do agree though as a loot reward, that (and Tullius' armor for Stormcloaks) is a little silly.

Keep in mind that his level is higher than the player's, though, and if he's over level 40 (which means you can't be over 32 or something), you can't thrall him.

My only Legionnaire took his clothes. They looked very good on his wife! :P

(The rest of my characters also tend to undress him. But that would be when he's alive... ;))

Why is this image so humorous?

Well, for my next playthrough of the Legion-side civil war questline, I'll keep Ulfric's clothes on and lay him on a decent spot as if in state.

I did the same clothes-stripping thing to Tullius and Rikke when I did a Stormcloak character. For my next Stormcloak character, I'll leave their armor on and put them out on the table side by side in state, maybe even put their hands together?

Nobody in Skyrim actually bathes.

Well at least Tullius's armour looks much better than the one Crassus is wearing in my opinion.

They enjoy the smell so much that they experience an unrelenting force literally from the smell of Ulfric's clothing.

To be fair, I don't particularly like Tullius' armor myself. I'd only want it because it is unique and puts me above the other scrubs in the Legion. :P
