Why you dont like crysis 2 mp (in its current state)

I really hope Crytek sorts this problem out with only having 6vs6 and not being able to have pilotable vehicles, if anything, just for the PC community.

Or... they had better start thinking about making a Crysis wars 2 :L

Crysis 1 MP svcked First of all second what do you mean current state? They are done with the MP. they just need to show how us a Few more modes:)

Crysis 2 MP looks Amazing no more stupid ass vehicles! The Nanosuit 2 is Ultra-Powerful and the Maps and the Graphics/Physics are Insane!

The new Weapons including the Scar V.2 are freaking Sweet!

CANT WAIT FOR MORE SP GAMEPLAY!

I not gonna judge this game until i played the 1st couple levels of sp and played at least an hr of mp. Lol, i can't believe i decided that even though 6 months and bit left

I agree 6v6 is too small. At least a 10 v 10 and 16 v 16 at max to minimize lag.

u click on the server and then u get a quastion if u wamt to dowload the map thats the only thing u need to do :)

lets just hope if they don′t fix these things that we atleast can mod som maps or make our own and ad 16vs16 and like tanks and vtols and stuff

ok guys I've said this like a million times all over the net, the reason they cut down to 6v6 players is because of the fricken massive lag, I mean sure it's more fun with more players but no one wants to play a game that they can barely move without lagging and walking off a cliff, so please stop thinking about yourselves and think about all the lag!

Lag depends on the server
Consoles do not have dedicated servers in crysis 2 soo more Dumbing down for those outdated boxes

Care to provide a link to such a claim? I've never seen Crytek state once that the 6v6 decision was based on technical reason. I have, however, heard them state on numerous occasions that it was a gameplay choice.

I understand why a lot of you's are annoyed at the choices Crytek have made, i dont blame you, crysis wars was awesome fun in its entirety, I know cause I've been playing all three of the crysis games for quite a while now, still loving the online of crysis wars. But sometimes change needs to be made to see what other possibilities are out there, possibilities of gameplay, gameplay styles and gameplay tactics. I agree with manicattack "change is okay".

In Crysis wars i liked all of the pre-made multiplayer maps as well as the custom made maps. But there was something i started to like about the closer-ish ranged maps. I liked having to sometimes act quick to hide behind cover, go to stealth mode and dodge the other players plans of attack to get to the upperhand position and take them out. I liked being able to jump up to some ledge while shooting and being shot at, i loved pulling out the AY-69 (dual smg's) and gunning down some players close enough, and i liked to melee people. These are some things that are difficult to do in the larger maps. Some of the closer-ish ranged maps i am talking about are:
? Coast ? Graveyard ? Evacuation ? Outpost ? Armada

Dont get me wrong, i like the larger maps too, just i couldnt get stuck into them as much as the closer ranged maps. Thats just me though, everyone has their different favourites.

I know it may seem they are letting a lot of us true hardcoe fans down with the big changes but come'on give them a break and encourage them for the risks their taking. Crysis 2 might be better than you're thinking. At least wait until you play the game before you start criticizing the game too much.

I'm sure Crytek could up the gameplay to 12on12 if they really wanted to. The problem isnt that they can't, its that won't.

I don't like not vehicles,but TBH,i did not see any official crytek or EA statement that there are non,but,i did see that they said they didn't reveal everything on the vehicles thing,so i stay calm on that matter.i dont like the whole feel of the game.most of the charm of crysis(i take 1 and wars as the same thing),im talking 80% of the charm,for me,was the slightly unfinished feel of it,like crytek says: "here's an awesome engine we made,awesome gameplay elements we did,now its your turn to make it the way you want it".and oh did we.it(crysis 2) feels too polished.also,it feels noob friendly,crysis was really hard to get good at.im talking months.im not too troubled about 6v6 player cap,im sure it will steal be fun,look at BC2,squad rush is just as epic as normal rush.plus modders will raise it.

I don't even care about what improvements they made to the SP part of the game. I play MP EVERY DAY! I need top of the line graphics while I play online. This 6 vs 6 malarkey needs to GTFO! Everybody who plays Crysis, plays online and NO ONE likes small teams! Crytek is committing suicide.

I think there doing great on MP so far. I love the idea of combining the nano suit powers to suit your own. This will have strength speed cloak but combine. There is nothing with it, its great and it fits for the consoles.


Personally the only thing is that they should add vehicles.

I really do love the way that they have allowed you to customise yours suit abilities but come on! they have to make us able to customise the suit visually otherwise everyone will look the same and it will be forgotten after Halo Reach which has customisable spartan suits, so please Crytech allow us to change what our suits look like!

If everyone is adamant that they don't want a clone of MW2 or CoD then they should be happy that the decision was made to bring 6 vs. 6 to Crysis 2's Multi-player.

Our Crytek UK studio has a great track history with MP games, Crysis 2 will be no different. Without playing it for yourself, you can't get a good enough idea of how the game will play or what the experience will be like. When the Xbox 360 Beta starts, a select few people will give us their feedback so that we can improve the game further.

The footage that we have shown so far is merely a fraction of what lies in store for everyone once they get their hands off it. Expect a lot more MP coverage and detail over the next six months or so!

If I were you I would also make a pc beta.
Console gamers will look really different to the game then pc gamers, especially the ones that haven’t played the first part intensively and experienced what was great about that.
Its great you want to improve the multiplayer and not just make it like the multiplayer in the first crysis, but do try to keep what made the first crysis great. Not to forget that it still is crysis

For me 6vs6 is good, becouse i never play on public servers 32/32 or 50/50.
Every match on ESL and outside is playing 3on3, 4on4.
Well 16vs16 isn't game, just mass gathering, where the skill does not matter, just lucky! Sorry for english xD
