Why is YOUR character in prison?

Post » Mon Nov 22, 2010 1:07 pm

My character is a repeat offender by continuously streaking (run without his Kilt through the arena) at all the major Bosmer-tossing events.

Don't know, don't care.

"That man who sent you to kill me believes that everyone is corruptible because it's in their very nature to sin. I bring people here to prove him wrong. And when they get here, their past doesn't matter."

When playing Morrowind or Oblivion, I don't care to come up with an explanation of why my character is in prison. That is the past. All I care about is the future. :)
Besides, whatever I could've done would be outweighed by the fact that I save the world.

Stole the cookie from the Cookie Jar....

What? My Khajiit likes the sweets...

My Argonian accidentally moved a sweetroll, was spotted by a guard a mile away, and then didn't have gold to pay the fine. :(

Edit: Sweetroll, not a cupcake.

What did he do? Several noble's daughters. Oh and that Argnonian diplomat that was found with a sword in his gut and a note saying "That's for Morrowind...dike", but mostly the daughter thing.

Because he's simply no longer comfortable starting an adventure anywhere else of course! How else is he going to find the secret passage?

As Sammael Drekison has been brought up in the forest by the beasts of this land, he has a strong bond to nature. He does speak the commontongue though as the shamans of the tundra has taught him the ways of the nordic people. When seeing a group of imperial soldiers torturing a wolf just for fun, Sammael kills all the twelve soldiers in a blood rage, ripping out their throats with his teeth and hacking them to pieces with his nordic shortsword. another group of patrolling imperial soldiers comes to the aid of the first group beating Sammael unconcious. They decide to deliver him to the authorities rather than killing him, as Sammael is a nord, and seeing that they don't know Sammaels identity. It would mean trouble for the imperials in Skyrim, if imperial soldiers killed a nobel.

Sammael Drekison is condemned for the murder of twelve imperial soldiers and sentenced to death.

Changing my reason.

Someone annoyed him so he ripped out their intestines, skipped rope with them, bombarded the town with flaming dogs and cheese, and then made angels in the blood.
Luckily, it was only Kvatch. this is the....15th? Time they have tried to execute him. Each time someone interferes, and he usually breaks free and kills the nervous executioner, by stuffing him with clowns. OR was it clouds?

anyhow, my guy is Sheogorath.

....something about walking up to the Governor and mumbling "I have a feeling......"

The little joke wasn't well received in Morrowind, and the Governor of Skyrim didn't handle it any better.

My Khajiit was just good with a bow, and couldn't stand it when somebody took away all his moon sugar and skooma. You can figure out the rest.

My character ripped out his own heart and chucked it at someone. Naturally, the heart exploded into a volley of red death that desolated the country side. Amazingly, it turns out he didn't need the heart.

My Dunmer Ranger-esque character, who I've used in Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion will be making a return. I always just role-play that "cannon" wise he isn't the main hero. I have other characters for that. Though I do finish the main quest with him so the events pass in the game world.

He overheard a group of Imperial's talking about the Red Year in a tavern. Their words already had his temper rising when finally one of them let out a comment that the Dunmer actually deserved what happened and that it was a shame those filthy lizards didn't wipe them all out. This was the breaking point, he slaughtered them. Little did he know those Imperials were deep in the pockets of the local lord. Needless to say he was thrown in the dungeons and set to be executed.

Now, he doesn't deny that the Dunmer of Morrowind deserved what they got to a certain degree. Even though Helseth had abolished slavery it was only a matter of time before the Argonian's sought out retribution. That being said, the events during the Red Year were terrible. Most of Morrowind -not just Vvardenfell- being destroyed causing deaths of thousands. The small number that survived were wiped out by the Argonian invaders, and the lucky who survived that fled to Solstheim.

It was only a small minority of Dunmer who were pro-slavery by the time that happened. All those innocents did not deserve to pay for the sins of others. :shakehead:

My nord combatant was relaxing in a bar one night after a long day of hunting in the forest. After a while, when he was really smashed, he followed the barmaid to her home and waited until he thought she was asleep, climbed through a window and [censored] her. How he got caught was that an unseen beggar saw him climb through the window and heard a little squeal and a loud thump and called the guards.

My breton mage casted a flame spell on target and suddenly the target quickly dodged the spell and killed a child. Many charges were pressed but he knew he didn't deserve to go to jail 'cause of a complete accident that he would never purposely commit.

My dunmer thief was outrunning a townsperson after stealing a prized possesion passed down from many generations ago and wasn't paying attention to where he was going and ran into a large group of Riften guards.

Wrong place at the wrong time for my Nord warrioress. Simply out hunting one day after perhaps a spot of dungeon crawling, thus bearing quite the number of arms. Two opposing factions meet in a battle not far from her and she gets attacked from behind by a few on the winning side, who judged her to be with their enemy. Ends up in prison, pleas of innocence going unheard and threats of torture causing her to cease any further attempts.
