My Nord saw bandits attacking wealthy men while crossing the border. He jumped out and tried to fend off the bandits. When the fight was over one wealthy Nord was killed the other was dying. Hulgar (my Nord) tried to keep the Nord alive, but the Nord died quickly. Guards rushed to Hulgar moments later, knocking him unconsious. He landed in jail and stayed there for 2 months. Within those 2 months an Orc inmate attacked him, giving Hulgar a scar across his cheek. He was sent to execution... Duh

My Argonian has no idea why he is going to be executed. He was drunk and doesn't remember a thing.

Well my guy is sentenced to death becuase of the merciless sluaghter of all argonians! on morrowind!. after they invaded my homeland i got a sword and rammed it through the disgusting lizards hearts.
the last argonian in the lands last words where"please no, we are just lowely slaves and deserve to be spit opon"! so after spitting all over its scaly face i decapitated it and put its head on a pole in blackmarsh for all to see..you dont MESS with the dunmer!..

Argonian lovers feel free to run now! and post a heated comment insulting dunmer as well, you know i love those!

:blink: Sounds like your character was hallucinating. An Argonian shadowscale must have drugged your character. In reality your character killed something else than Argonians...

Every character is going to be executed because they crossed the Skyrim border.

Every character is going to be caught because they crossed the Skyrim border. Big difference.
Then while you're in the customs office or whatever, some guy looks up and sees the wanted poster on the wall. Joe Blow, Wanted Dead or Alive for _________. That's where player creativity is supposed to come in, for those of us who have some.

Rather disappointing in my opinion, If I wanted to make up my own story I'd be making my own game.

But... making up your own backstory is what makes your characters yours. It opens up the possibilities of roleplaying far beyond a set backstory.

As for why my character is going to be executed... I haven't 100% decided. Perhaps he was trading information between the Empire and the rebels, or was just in the wrong place at the wrong time - being found within proximity of a caravan that was raided perhaps, or matching the description of a known criminal (how many non-Dunmer will be able to distinguish between one gray-skinned red-eyed elf and another?)

How is my character is going to die? Probably the same way my character in Oblivion died: by jumping off of a really tall mountain to see if she would survive jumping off of a really tall mountain.

Remember, people can't know their limits until someone brave or stupid enough shows them what those limits are.
