I recently replaced my old computer with a new one. It is a fairly powerful ASUS laptop with a 15,6" screen. Anyway, when I install and attempt to play morrowind on it the game is centered on the middle of the screen, with the edges blacked out. It is annoying, and I wonder if there is a solution for widescreen for morrowind? I would really appreciate some help.

by the way, my computer skills in this area are somewhere a drugged hamster and a lobotomized goat... So a simple explanation/suggestions are much appreciated.

To change resolution, you can use http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1159516-morrowind-graphics-extender-mge/, http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=64 or http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=utilities.detail&id=22. You can also manually change registry entries, but that's for advanced computer users.
